It smelt so good, that I started dancing there, but at last along with those flowers a twig fell on my head jerking me off.

Autumn turned to winter with a suddenness that surprised Clara. One morning the garden was full of gold and red leaves, the memory-flowers still blooming in defiance of the cooling air.
