“Alright, you can come in now!” Changed into her new dress, Helena took a moment to recollect herself before calling out to Fane. Fane entered the cave with a dead rabbit in his hands before he threw it aside. “Why did you bring a rabbit in?” Helena immediately asked when she saw the tiny monster beast’s body on the ground. Fane smiled. “Since we have time, let’s roast it as food later!” He then exited the cave in search of some dried wood. He then ignited it and started roasting the rabbit after taking off its skin.

I began, lowering my voice like I was about to tell her a grand secret, "that a mother rabbit gives birth to at least five babies at a time?" Raya continued to cry, but I could tell she was listening. I pressed on. "And guess what?" I leaned in, my voice dropping even lower as if I was sharing something only I knew. "Each baby rabbit is a duplicate of the others they were born with." The sobbing slowed. Raya sniffled, lifting her big, tear-filled grayish-blue eyes to mine. Her lips trembled as she hiccupped. "Really?" she whispered. I nodded immediately, my face serious as I told the white lie.

They were about nine or 10 years old if I were not mistaken. I stopped and waved at them. Two girls and a boy. "Hello there, sweet bunnies," The two girls giggled. "We're wolves, though, but I haven't shifted." Said the girl with cute freckles on her face. I almost laughed at their faces. Witty kid. "but I like bunnies. Shane likes it too." She added, pointing to the girl with black hair who eagerly shook her head. "We have three bunnies at home; Toffee, Biscuit, and Marshmallow. They are so cute. Do you want to see them someday, Luna Anisha?" Shane asked.

" I raise my eyebrows in confusion. "Where is my reward?" Gary is looking at me expectantly, and I have no idea what to give him. "I don't have any money." The rabbit lets out a deep, throaty laugh, throwing me off the track. I didn't expect a sound like that to come out of his little body. His voice does not sound deep when he speaks. He has fluffy bunny ears, for chrissake. I expected him to sound like a little chipmunk when he laughed out loud.

She mumbled inwardly, 'Just this once'. "Okay. Since you guys seem to have no objection. Let us now start hunting. Disperse!" Ziana exclaimed loudly. After Ziana said that, the two annoying siblings looked at each other. They wanted to win this friendly competition as they wanted to impress the twins. So they immediately went out of their way. "Come on!" Ziana urged Frost. Frost could do nothing but join them. After all, she was hungry. So she also started hunting for a prey. Twenty-minutes had passed, and as Frost was walking, she spotted a silver-ranked black rabbit beast cutely nibbling on a carrot.

She said looking at me. "Maybe I am big now, but you will always be Miss.Franklin to me. Or shall I say, Mony-Cony." I said to her and she started laughing. We used to call her Mony-Cony because she had a thousand of small rabbits in her backyard. When we were kids, she let them out of their cages and we played with them on her grass. We wanted to laugh out loud but we knew how the crowd will react. Look at this two, they are laughing on this sad day! I could hear some of them behind me.

They mounted it to get to the main road where they planned to take their own ways there. Jai still thought that these big bunnies in blue colour were a wonder. Not only there were no rabbits in blue colour in his previous world, there were none this big. It was bigger than a big Alaskan Malamuteand he knew this because he had dogsat that kind of dog before. Jai couldn’t help but compare the size of these bunnies being almost close to a kid elephant. The one that had been living a few months and not the baby one, which means it was indeed, gigantic for a rabbit.

“That’s why we have The Fortune Rabbits to balance things out.” Fortune Rabbits…! “A-Ah— have you seen a pink rabbit that’s not from The Fortune Rabbits…!?” Restia asked. “No, I didn’t see it.” “A-Are you sure…?” “There’s only one Fortune Rabbit left, and she’s currently living with me— none from her tribe survived from the plague.” White Snake replied. “Are you really sure there’s no other pink rabbit…?” Restia didn’t give up. “My lady already answered your question— what’s with your persistence, little girl…?”

More resolved. When I returned to the bedroom, I noticed the rumpled state of the bed. The sheets still smelled faintly of Sylvan's rain-forest scent, mingled with the sour hint of wolfsbane whiskey and salt from my tears. "Martha?" I called, stepping into the hallway. She appeared from downstairs. "Yes, Dr. Bennett?" "Could you change the bedding, please? And..." I hesitated. "How are the rabbits doing?" Martha's face brightened. "Oh, wonderful news about that! I found another pack healer who can take them all – the mother and her babies. She specializes in small prey animals and says they'll have a proper habitat."
