Ignoring Fate's Warning

Ignoring Fate's Warning

"Vy, who do you want to choose?" Mom asked me gently. "You don't need to worry about anything. No matter who it is, as long as you like him, your father and I will support you." I nodded. I had just taken a step toward Drake Weston when lines of pop-up messages began scrolling before my eyes. [Don't choose Drake Weston under any circumstances! He's obsessed with Sienna!] [Drake is only getting close to you to steal your shares. He's already slept with Sienna!]

FESTERING HEART

FESTERING HEART

The very best in the whole country! "Mum!" Xavier rushed forward and yelled. "Are you planning to sponsor her?" Not only was he shocked, but he was also unable to believe it, or maybe he just didn't want to believe it. Madam Frost gave him a side glance before returning her attention to me, "I do have the right to sponsor whoever I want to. Being here today to look for a job is your fortune, and if you are okay with it, I would like to be your sponsor. What do you think, Crystal Shawn?" She asked me, her eyes searching mine.

Ashes of Six

Ashes of Six

And those people, the Beech family, were the monsters. Justin and Lela Beech were the kind of foster parents that people make horror movies about. You know the psychological horror where the villains hide in plain sight and no one ever suspects them. The kind of horror movie that either ends with a survivor making it out and stopping them, or that ends with no survivor to tell the truth. They collected foster kids like Pokémon cards. And honestly, it’s not a far-off comparison as they used us for their own ends.

The War of the Royals: The Alpha's Rose Conclusion

The War of the Royals: The Alpha's Rose Conclusion

JOSH POV “Learning about the foster system and it’s ineffectiveness is the reason I chose to get my degrees in social work and early childhood development. When I was being scouted for pro teams during my junior year of college, I decided that fifty percent of my first pro contract was going to be set aside to start The Jay Taylor Advocacy Foundation for Fosters and Orphans. Other than being listed as the founder, my name isn’t a highlight. I wanted the foundation to be about the kids and their needs, not me. Not my fame.

She's Mine To Claim: Mr. Alpha, Can You Kiss Me More?

She's Mine To Claim: Mr. Alpha, Can You Kiss Me More?

His jaw tightened and I could feel that his wolf was uneasy to leave me alone with Foster in this state. "Go," I let my alpha command seep in. He stiffens but he obeys. "Yes alpha," he turns around and enters the house. As soon as the door click shut behind him I take a step forward, but made sure to not go too close. Pickett had been an ordinary human and she killed Giovanni. Foster was a human. Well he was now human. Foster came from a line of warlocks and witches like Pickett did. His parents however died a long time ago. His guardians who he referred to as his parents are ordinary human beings

If you’ve read this book before August 4th 2024 please reread the book to get a better grasp on the changed storyline. I have made a massive change to the storyline and it may be confusing to those who’ve read the book previously.
Whysteria
I am enjoying the sequel more than the first! I love the chemistry, if you can call it that, between Raiden and Amelia. Raiden’s sarcastic nature is amazing. The suspense of waiting for the next chapter is killing me. Looks like updates come, but not often. A great read though if you have patience.

Captive To The Mafia Lord

Captive To The Mafia Lord

"Do what? Feed you? Pretty sure that's exactly what I have to do. You're recovering so you need every protein or calorie. All that good stuff that makes bullet holes close." "I have staff for this." "Your staff isn't here." I cracked eggs into a bowl. "Besides, I can cook, sort of. Foster care teaches you the basics—eggs, pasta, anything you can make with three ingredients and no supervision." He was quiet for a moment. Then: "You don't talk about it much. Foster care." "Not much to talk about. The system's broken and everyone knows it so talking about it doesn't fix it." "But you were there. From when to when?"

The Heir in the White Coat

The Heir in the White Coat

The Fosters didn't even last two weeks. Foster Enterprise declared bankruptcy and went into liquidation. The once untouchable Foster family collapsed overnight, buried under debts they would never be able to repay in this lifetime. Gracie went from a high-and-mighty heiress to someone hiding from creditors wherever she could. Someone once saw her at the entrance of Southside Orphanage. She sat on the steps outside the orphanage, clutching the repaired locket, its surface still webbed with cracks. She sat there for the entire day.

They Chose My Foster Sister, I Built My Own Life

They Chose My Foster Sister, I Built My Own Life

On the night of the final showcase for the three-year designer development program, my parents weren't in the family seats reserved for me. They were sitting at the VIP table with Sophie, my foster sister. My boyfriend, Adrian Cole, was giving interviews in a silver-gray outfit that matched hers. A reporter smiled and asked, "You're both headed to New York, and tonight you're even dressed as a couple. Did the two of you plan that?" The people around them whooped. Adrian only smiled. "We've known each other for years. We have similar taste." No one knew that the dress Sophie was wearing was mine. I'd drafted the pattern and sewn the dress myself, and Adrian and

RECLAIMING MY LIFE FROM THE UNTOUCHABLE CEO

RECLAIMING MY LIFE FROM THE UNTOUCHABLE CEO

POV: Hazel Foster's hands trembled as he pulled a folded paper from his coat, and I realized he had been carrying this truth on his body the entire night, waiting for the right moment, or perhaps the courage, to let it go into the open air between us. "His name was Andre Salt," Foster said, smoothing the paper flat against the desk with a care that suggested he had unfolded and refolded it many times before tonight. "A freelance driver, hired through a shell company that traced back through three layers before it finally landed on someone I never expected."

FATE

"I promise by my watch your daughter will be safe with him, he at least has nothing he cares for and by taking Sophia in he'll be more responsible than ever, I promise. And anything that is a need I'll provide." "Thanks so much, sir, I couldn't have asked for more. You're an angel in disguise. My daughter and I appreciate your kindness" Maureen adored with tears of joy. "Dear Sophia, don't think this is a bad choice I've made for my son and you. I'll even get some foreign doctors to look into your condition alright, just trust me on this" Ernest assured. She nodded without feelings. "I'll take your leave now, I'll contact you soon for updates" he finished handing Maureen a cheque, her eyes l
