Then I regained courage and rushed back to the mansion. As I arrived, I saw Mary on the floor, bleeding. I screamed and rushed to her side. She had been shot in her lower abdomen and was bleeding profusely. She was lifeless, as I couldn't hear her heartbeat. I dug my teeth into her elbow and injected my venom into her bloodstream. She still didn't wake up, and she was dead already. Solomon came to my side and placed a hand on my shoulder. I stood up quickly and turned to face him. He could see the pain in the tears that washed my cheeks.

I asked, not tearing off my gaze from the young lady. He smiled, “You’ve met her?” He didn’t even sound surprised. I nodded, “Yes, twice, in the ball and in the music room.” My tone died down upon the slow realization that I really have a child. I’m freaking married and I have a daughter. “How come she looked almost the same age as me?” I asked, bewildered. Cassius stared at Rose, “Vampires grow up faster than humans,” My gaze fell upon Rosamund who was smiling at her pet rabbit.

The first enemies, when they come in contact with it are immediately disintegrated. “EXPLOSION!” My body does not exist anymore, it is just dark matter. All the werewolves and vampires are eliminated one by one, but in the distance, I see Frank trying to escape. “Frank! You can’t escape from me!” I take to the sky and start chasing him, the time of his death has come. She then turned around and went out but it did not take long for her to return with a large cauldron which was flying in the air in front of her while in her arms was a woman. But the woman was not a normal woman—— she just looked like one but other than that she had nothing, not even a flicker of resemblance to a normal human as she was sewn together. Parts of her body from head to toe were connected in a single body making her look like a Frankenstein, only much horrible and scary. The children who were too stunned to speak after seeing one of the pups getting killed burst out screaming once again as they looked at the ‘Lady.’

My heart hammered against my ribs, so loud I thought it might shatter them. My jaw clenched tight, teeth grinding as I braced myself. The vampire’s mouth stretched wide, revealing fangs that gleamed like knives, his gaze locked on my throat. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the bite, the end. But something happened. A spark ignited inside me, a rush of heat flooding my chest, tingling down my arms and legs. It wasn’t fear—it was something else, something alive. My eyes flew open, and I saw the vampire’s face twist. The hunger vanished, replaced by confusion, then fear. His brows furrowed, his mouth faltering mid-snarl.

The most important thing on my mind was to get everything packed up into the car and leave before there was the need for another fight. Mary didn't know who it was, and with that little knowledge gap she had because of me not telling her what she is and what actually exists, that could mean anything from vampire to goblin, werewolves, or even fairies or nymphs. I don't know how far the message had gone about Mary and the kidnapping and who other than werewolves were looking for her. It clearly wasn't the goblin goons after Dora because she was totally fine and not doubled over in pain.

I chanted as he slid his fingers out and licked it I scrunched my nose as he chuckled and his eyes became dark all of a sudden. The wind began to howl and blow fiercely as he pushed me onto my back.
