If you are so sure of your powers why don’t you come out and fight me, like a warrior.” Xander growled as he thrashed under his restraints. “Because I am no warrior, you fool,” the voice spat, and the force lightened its grip on Xander. Just that Daisy and Mason burst into the cell, the urgency of the situation etched across their faces. “Oh, Selene,” Daisy whispered as she examined the cell. There was something on her face that said that she was able to see the force that was attacking Xander at the moment.

Xenia said. She undid the chains binding Frieda and Lacey, laying them side by side. The warmth of the healing energy surged through Xenia’s hands, tingling at her fingertips before spreading outwards like tendrils of light. Nova’s power was both comforting and overwhelming, a force that swirled within Xenia. As she pressed her palms against the girls’ battered bodies, the white glow intensified, casting a soft, ethereal light over the dark cell.
