"Why are we in a forest, Rain? This place is creepy! Argh! What is that?! Is that a frog?! Oh my God! I swear if that disgusting thing will come closer to me, that thing is dead! I swear! Ahh! Get it off me! Get it off me!" Greka shrieked. "Would you just shut your mouth Greka?! And that's just an adorable frog, that thing can't harm you jeez," I rolled my eyes at her.

"Frederico, the kingdom has fallen. We haven't much time!" Lady Lisbeth Delgaard rushed to where the babies lay, sleeping in their crib. Knowing she wasted precious moments-nevertheless, the Dragonlady gazed upon her children. The twins looked so different, yet she loved them equally as fierce. Ragnar took after her with his fiery temper and the telltale bulk that spoke of his dragon heritage. Whereas Gio was smaller, with dark eyes that changed color according to his mood, and there was no doubt that he held his father's wolf genes. Mixed species couples were killed on sight in Desdayos, and as the war reached the inner sanctum, a difficult decision needed to be made.

Before the fight started, the shrill whinny of a horse split the sky first. The knights fell silent in unison as if recognizing the whinny. Slow but sure they stretched the crowd, making room for the horse to step forward. A large, jet black Friesian horse with a long mane on its head and ankles stepped into the crowd.

It felt more natural than anything else and Silat was deadly if applied correctly. Frank lifted his arms and started circling me. My hands were hanging loosely next to my sides as Frank came for me. I grabbed his arm on the second division and twisted his arm behind his back. I stepped forward with my foot and pushed his foot toward me. He lost his balance and landed on his back.

"Unless you're just here for the show." Appearing not as Jinx's brother but as someone from Tricksy's long ago past, Frog fell out of the scepter and landed on all fours. He was missing his tail and one of his ears. "Could have been a bit more focused." He growled as he perched in a nearby chair. "Where's your hospitality? No little snacks for me or anything?"

They flew into the air together. Raid had been crashed into one of the buildings and due to the force of the impact, some parts of it were damaged. Glade, on the other hand, hit the big frog he had ridden earlier with a child. The poor creature was thrown into the air and got smashed on the ground. “Poly!” the child, who seemed to be the owner of that poor thing, cried and his pet croaked weakly. Is it a frog or a mixture of frogs, fish and dogs? What is that creature called? I don't know.

Griff snarled. “They’re probably the size of raisins.” I opened the Hatch’s door and navigated Fitzroy’s customized menu. “Maybe the healer can let me use their magnifying glass to get at them.” “All right,” Rumpel Kracknuts spat. “I’ll take it out.” I turned around. “All of it.” The faerie squeezed his eyes shut, twisted his face, and squatted like a spaniel struggling with a hard shit. He moved a trembling hand in a figure-eight motion, the way a conductor would wave a baton, and exhaled.

Falynx’s presence was still about 10 kilometres away. “Be ready for battle.” Akame said. “Remember though, don’t kill it.” Matthew reminded her. A few minutes later, a gigantic figure could be seen flying in the sky. The creature had the body of a snake, the head of a crocodile and six pairs of batwings. Its yellow eyes with black vertical slits looked down at the incoming people below. Falynx bowed its head and began descending. Matthew and Akame saw this as an engagement in battle. Matthew called out the Dragoknight to his arms and increased his astra output.

A single additional line that departed from the clinical register entirely. *He was a good frog.* David handed the log to Alex. Alex took it. Looked at the last entry. Then he opened to a new page. Wrote the date. *Gerald the Fourth. Common frog, Rana temporaria. Introduced to the estate garden, rose bed corner. Assessment: healthy, alert, appropriately cautious. Temperament: to be determined.* He capped the pen. Handed the log to Catherine. She looked at it seriously. "What do I do with it?"

I shouted, my head whipping from side to side as I tried to locate where the sound came from. Another croak, this time from the chair to my left. I dragged myself out of the hearth and hurried towards. There, on the edge, was Celyn the frog, looking absolutely unbothered. But when I tried to pick her up, she jumped away. I cursed loudly, nearly falling on my face as that stupid frog evaded me time and again. Finally, I was able to corner her in the hearth. I threw her into my backpack, retrieved my phone from where it fell.
