Zane’s POV Laughter echoed around me as I saw everyone chilling and having the time of their lives. I was sitting at the bar, at one of my father’s whorehouses. We had many of them, but my favorite was this one – Velvet Fist. The neon sign reading “Cum In” was displayed brightly right in front of me and I scoffed as I watched it vengefully. I motioned the waitress to serve me another drink, and she leaned all the way on the table to serve it as her puckered nipples stood out from the little nothing’s she was wearing.

Wilbur glanced at the man and woman with a frown. "Do you two own this place?" "We don't, but I can't stand other people being around when I eat! It upsets my appetite," the man said haughtily. The woman next to him tittered as well, her heavy makeup creasing. She seemed to appreciate the man's cockiness. Wilbur was about to respond when the owner of the cafe came running over. He whispered to Wilbur, "Dude, you should just go. You can't afford to mess with him. Don't get yourself into trouble."

She gestured for me to step aside. “Move.” I frowned. “Why?” Her smile returned, except this one wasn’t polite anymore. “This establishment isn’t somewhere people come to make jokes.” I stared at her, honestly wondering if she heard herself. “I’m not joking.” Her gaze swept over me again. “This restaurant is reservation-only,” she said smoothly. “You clearly don’t have one, so it’s better not to embarrass yourself further.” Something about her rubbed me the wrong way immediately. The quick judgment, the way she looked at me like she had already placed me somewhere beneath her.

We both watched for a while as more and more people got turned away. Those that made it were a very small pool. "Wanna go look for other bars in the area? I think it's better if we walk though. No more cabs." She declared firmly. "Hello beautiful." A smarmy voice drawled. We turned to find a tall man, looking like every stereotypical italian hottie come to life eye fucking Char. "Aren't you going in?" He asked with a sleazy smile, flashing us his artificially white teeth.
