A+ was unusual, and a sign of a good pairing. Cathy looked at me funny. "What?" I said. "Did you just make a joke?" "What? No!" "Did you say, 'that makes scents' instead of 'that makes sense'. Because if you did, it's the worst pun ever.'" We looked at each other, and then our nerves and the night and the spiked punch got the best of us and we burst out laughing. I grabbed her warm hand, giving it a squeeze. What would I do with this friend who infused me with confidence and lightening the awkward situations of my life?

He has completely lost his mind, hasn’t he? My repulsion must show on my face, because he bends over in half and starts laughing like a loon. Crazy bastard. The edges of my lips tilt up too. You’d be able to smell poison from a mile away, and I know you’ll get the gun away from me within seconds.” Devrim was the first to break the silence. “You humans have a sick sense of humour. I don’t really see what’s so funny in what you said.” “I’m sorry.”

His laugh was cute and all but not when it was directed at me in an extremely awkward situation. "How is this funny?" "It's weird when you do that, like really really weird" "When I do that?" I got a glimpse of my face in the mirror and it was so red, I felt even more embarrassed. I was biting my lower lip with both my arms wrapped around each other tightly. The more I looked at myself, the redder I got and Lucas who was meant to help, was making it worse by laughing. What's so funny about it?
