CHAPTER 25 – CLAIMED AGAINST THE WALL ANITA'S POV Yeah. As far as I’m concerned, there is only one conclusion I can draw: this man is possessed—terribly, hellishly possessed—beyond anything I could ever imagine. Goodness. What in the living hell is the meaning of this? You could say I no longer saw him as the man who was threatening me but as the man who I met last night. Once close, one hand buried itself in my hips and pulled me flush against him. I try to walk past him but he catches me and turns his back to the sofa to sit with me on his knees. I could fight him off, but I don't. I grab his hands and I let him see into my mind again. I let him see what I find suspicious and I let him follow through my conspiracies. I let him feed because he has expended himself keeping up with me.
