Contract Marriage

So now that it was very obvious that she won't be able to give him the baby, well unless she magically got pregnant by the next day and the chances of that happening were small, Aurora decided to get him a book, she knew very little about what books he likes, well she was not much of a reader so she asked the very kind nice lady in the book shop inside the estate. She’s supposed to be around twenty-three years, not twenty-one. Also, since this book will end in about three or four chapters, can you guys please do me a favor and share the book to your social medias—if you feel it’s worthy. Please recommend to your friends. I need your votes too. Badly. Your reviews or comments will help as well. I wish you all a happy new month. Cheers.

Kenny Chesney
This Author delivers one of the best stories ever. I have a lot to say about this one. Kim and Evelyn were strong women and I loved how they fought and won their battle against Mrs Evans. I loved Kim the most because she changed from a shy, bookworm to a powerhouse and that was satisfying. Kudos.
Abella Anderson
I think this is the first story that I've read that the female characters isnt so stuoid and naive. Kim is a power house and seems to know exactly what's she's going and she knows how to use whats she has to get what she wants and I love a powerful and strong will woman. She's a better player

The One Way Ticket

Gerey turned his attention back to his bag instantly. With trembling hands, he zipped up his bag, exhaled and walked up to the Librarian who offered him a plastic blue tag that had the number ‘0169’ etched in black on it. “Uhm, do you know where I can find books on - fairy tales? For kids between the ages 7 to 12?” Gerey's eyeballs danced around for a yellow pair of eyes on a face with unusually large ears.

I quickly took it out with a frown. What's that book you are reading?" She ran toward Emily, knowing she had done something wrong. I would have run along chasing her, but my leg reminds me I have a heavy gown on. "How many times, Alice?" "This book is not for you!" "It's rated 16. I will soon be 16, Veronica!". "You are 10, my dear." "We have another six years to go." She frowns. I don't know how, but each time she ends up putting on this childish look that always melts my heart.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Nightingale is a historical fiction novel written by Kristin Hannah, set in France during World War II. It follows the lives of two sisters, Vianne Mauriac and Isabelle Rossignol, who take different paths in their efforts to survive and resist the German occupation. The narrative unfolds in five key periods: the early war, the German occupation, the Holocaust, the painful end of war, and the aftermath in 1995. Vianne, the elder sister, embodies the struggles of a woman trying to protect her family while facing the horrors of war, including having to harbor Jewish children and dealing with the abusive Nazi officer billeted in her home. In contrast, Isabelle, the younger sister, seeks to actively fight against the Nazis by joining the French Resistance and risking her life to help downed Allied airmen escape to safety. The novel explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the resilience of women during wartime, highlighting the often-overlooked contributions of women in the resistance against Nazi tyranny. Hannah's work is inspired by real historical figures, particularly Andrée de Jongh, who created escape routes for Allied pilots, making the story not only a compelling read but also an educational glimpse into a significant yet underrepresented facet of history.
