The van carrying Talan overturns as Talan comes back to life to continue his rampage. Meanwhile, after becoming increasingly ill, Gavin investigates the Gwynek residence and ends up killing Mrs. Gwynek after coming to realize that he now has the same affliction as Talan. Gavin shaves off all of his body hair as he begins giving in to his new werewolf alter ego. In the commotion at the crash site, Talan kills Eric. Talan moves to attack Kate next, but Gavin arrives to battle the other werewolf. The fight ends when Gavin strangles Talan, presumably killing him.

Lucky for me Jewel's sheer size is far greater than any of the rogues and she is on her feet before the large brown wolf with a dirty matted coat can lunge at her again . "Perhaps we should give him and the audience a show…spark it up!" My wolf let the hellfire crackle along his fur and the bolts traveled down his back and paws. Gallum's wolf eyes widened seeing the blue glimmer. He didn't realize that my wolf carried the same gift. I thought about us growing up together and the things that I had kept from him.

My wolf responded. “How do you mean?” I asked. “Well, you just need to know that you have just unlocked another gift of yours and it will take time for you to master what the gift is. If you don’t , it will be difficult for me to use as well but I know you are smart and you can easily get that into use.” My wolf said. I listened in disbelief. What could this new gift be?

The loaded shot gun perched under the counter was proof enough. After nodding a polite ‘hello’ to Gerald, I led Zack over to the wobbly table of painted wolf carvings. One white wolf stood atop a mountain; head raised as it howled at an invisible moon. Another carving showed a brown wolf, hackles raised as it prepared to pounce at an unseen enemy. After reminding Zack not to touch, his eyes roamed each wolf with excitement. “This one.” Zack grinned widely, “This is my wolf!”

As the wolf’s finger brushed the silver surface, the sphere didn't explode. It **Opened**. A thousand tiny, mechanical legs shot out from the sphere, latching onto the wolf’s arm. The wolf let out a scream as the legs began to glow with a pale blue light. Within seconds, the wolf’s skin began to turn into a gray, metallic substance. He wasn't being killed; he was being **Inventoried**.

In a matter of minutes, Susan was in her wolf form and exiting via the wolf doors in place, to allow ease for wolves to come and go. Susan returned to where Luna Cat and Alpha Gannon were prior to her shift. The children were enthralled by seeing their dad in his jet black and very large wolf form. The only thing that wasn’t black on Gannon was a white star on his chest that signified he was something special and powerful, and not to be messed with.
