Turn tail, and wait for the first full moon of the year. The wolf moon. That would make for an auspicious mate announcement. The Alpha and Luna joining during the wolf moon was supposed to be the best omen for a pack. He could wait a month to meet his mate. Hopefully, he would be able to claim her that day too. If not, he would find a way to wait for her to accept him. Surely the moon goddess wouldn’t be so cruel as to make him wait for a mate who could never belong to him. At his age a broken mating bond would be very hard on his wolf.

Record says the Alpha and Luna unleashed their blue fires to burn the invading rogue dragons that burned them to death. But this act of burning cost them even the moon wolves’ life. It has been three centuries since the incident and no moon wolves has walked on earth since. Moon wolf’s wolf form is generally blue or royal blue. Males have large bodies while females are more slender. Both sexes have blue fire at the tips of their tail and blue eyes raging from deep blue to pale blue.
