THE GLASS WIFE; the storm he built himself

THE GLASS WIFE; the storm he built himself

Not just any designs or sketches like I have been doing all this while, but designs that weren’t ‘timid’. The kind that I hoped Nora/Vivienne would like. I earnestly prayed she would. But by the time I decided to take a rest and called it a day, I realized I had made three extra sketches! A whole lot more dirty looking sketches compared to the ones I had made. Not like they were dirty, like dirt dirty. But like, they weren’t… as clean as the others. Like if the others felt like beautiful drawings, then these felt like actual sketch work! With all the pencils heavy on the sides, looking darker than the others.

I love it when I see the female stand up for herself and make a decision of her own. BTW, why would Eliot divorce her just like that, like some trash. Anyway, I love the ex-regret I smell already. I am rooting for my gurl, Serena.

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

The floor was scattered with charcoal stubs, graphite shavings, crumpled drafts—evidence of obsession, not profession. I stepped closer to the central table, my breath catching somewhere between my lungs and my throat. They weren’t buildings. They were me. Dozens of sketches—no, hundreds—covered every surface. Versions of me I didn’t even know existed stared back from paper and shadow. There was one of me sitting on the edge of the hospital bed the night Léo saved me, my shoulders folded inward like a broken wing. Another captured my hands—ink-stained, trembling—from those first desperate days in the North. A charcoal rendering of me asleep on the train, my reflection blurred into the glass,

Reclaiming My Broken Luna

Reclaiming My Broken Luna

Giselle’s POV I sat on the balcony, the warm afternoon sun dappling on my face as I bent over my sketchpad. A small smile played on my lips as I delicately guided the paintbrush across the paper, coaxing the vibrant hues of a delicate orchid to life. With each gentle stroke, the petals unfurled on the page, their delicate leaves and subtle gradient of colour emerging under my skilled touch. I lost myself in the rhythm of my movements, the brush dancing across the surface, creating a serene and beautiful image.

Can you all just stop talking shit about the writer please? Do you think it's easy to write a book? She's doing her best. And even if you have any problems with her writing, I think you should find something else to read, rather than discouraging her and other readers with your negative comments ....

This book is terrible. The story is just being dragged & same thing is repeated again & again. The ML is the most dumb & brainless Alpha I've ever read. Even his minions are smarter than him & the FL is just another doormat who keeps suffering in the entire book. She never grows a spine. Pathetic!!

WHAT HE ERASED

WHAT HE ERASED

he said, looking at it. "This morning. Priti and I stayed late." He looked at the eleven sketches. At the coat in the center, the one I'd been afraid of for ten years. "This is good," he said. Not the careful, managed good of someone evaluating an investment. Just good. Plainly. "It's not finished. Three of these are still just sketches, the actual pieces aren't" "Mara." He looked at me. "It's good." I looked at the wall.

Reborn to Destroy Him

Reborn to Destroy Him

Journals where I wrote down my feelings while creating each piece. I pulled out the oldest sketches. The ones from before Brock. When I was young and hopeful and believed in fairy tales. The designs were pretty but shallow. I didn't know anything about pain yet. Didn't know anything about survival. Then I pulled out the sketches from right after. When I was rebuilding. When every line I drew was an act of defiance. These designs were harder. Sharper. They had teeth. Then the healing sketches. Softer. More complex. Designs that understood both pain and hope. That held space for both trauma and beauty.

"It's not exactly 'showroom ready.'" She leaned over to get a look. He pulled the first page from the case. It was a rough but vibrant line sketch of a strong figure standing alone. Lilly's gaze softened. "Wow," she murmured. "This is… intense." Quill nodded, pulling another piece. It was the same figure but now crouched. The figure's muscles were more defined. With every sketch he'd tried to capture something different about Hawk. "Is it…" she trailed off as she glanced at him. "It's him, isn't it?"

I LEFT MY EX HUSBAND AND MARRIED A BILLIONAIRE

I LEFT MY EX HUSBAND AND MARRIED A BILLIONAIRE

She carried a black portfolio case and smiled politely at me. “Good morning, Mr. Fox,” she greeted. I gestured for her to sit, “Let's see what you've got.” Diane opened her portfolio case, spreading a set of sketches across the table. “This collection is called Celestial Whispers. It's inspired by constellations and the connection between stars and human emotions. Each piece represents a zodiac element–Air, water, earth and fire,” she described. I leaned forward, scanning the sketches in silence. The designs were elegant, no doubt–intricate pendants shaped like constellations, gemstone patterns resembling night skies. I lifted one of the sketches and tilted my head slightly.

Setting Fire to Her Lies

Setting Fire to Her Lies

In just a few simple strokes, I captured the devotion and weathered expression on his face with striking depth. Jess kept flipping. One by one, she looked through my sketches. She saw an old man praying beside a prayer wheel, children playing beneath snow-capped mountains, an antelope with eyes as clear as the sky, wildflowers swaying in the wind… Each page overflowed with reverence for life drawn in vivid, lively strokes. There weren't any complex compositions or dazzling colors. They were just sketches. But the level of artistic foundation, the sincerity of the feelings behind them, and the raw energy flowing from them far surpassed that ornate, calculating work called "Duality."

Alpha Kaden

Alpha Kaden

Her eyes alight upon scattered sketches strewn across the surface, drawing her in with an irresistible pull. Picking up one of the sketches, she is met with the striking image of a wolf, its form captured in intricate detail. As her gaze flits to another sketch, a closer view of the wolf reveals its menacing features—fangs bared and saliva dripping, an embodiment of primal ferocity. A series of similar sketches follow, each portraying the majestic yet fearsome creatures in different poses. A furrow creases Rose's brow in puzzlement as she contemplates the artist's apparent fixation on these lupine subjects.
