"I'm easy," Howard shot back.
"You seem pretty sure of yourself," Liliana pointed out, her gaze sharpening.
"Well, gambling's all about luck, isn't it? Until the cards are dealt, everyone's got a shot at winning," Howard said with a grin.
Liliana let out a playful laugh. "You're not wrong there."
She gestured to a chair by the table. "Have a seat, Mr. Lincoln."
"Thanks," Howard said, taking his place.
