Paula and I followed after him, and I did not miss the way she occasionally glanced at me. The three of us went to different booths and played games. While Gerald and I were failing miserably, Paula was winning without breaking a sweat.

"Buy me and my friends a drink then we'll call it even." She doesn't entertain his stupid rhyme and goes straight for rewards. "Friends? How many are we talking here?" "Six shots should be enough." "Six? Sure." He waves his hand for the bartender and orders the six shots, along with another serving for me and him. "Fuck," Gerard suddenly takes out his phone from his jeans pocket, I can see his crush is calling him by the caller ID.

Elisia answered. Thane frowned when she heard 'the third of the third month.' He turned to face her again which made Elisia frightened. There it was again. The feeling that something dark was hidden inside Thane. "I didn't die on that day. I died on the fourth, and it didn't happen in 2039. I died two years ago. That means you didn't just turn back on the day your boyfriend died. You turned back way beyond that. You're really in serious trouble." Thane commented.
