She had a way of getting under my skin. As Benita left, I slid the glass of wine aside and opened the first two buttons of my shirt, feeling a wave of suffocation wash over me. Leaning back in my chair, I let out a frustrated sigh. The weight of my decision pressed down on me, making it hard to breathe.
