I said pointedly "And it wasn't necessary to get into another scandal" he retorted sharply and raised his phone. "What's this again, Sloane?" I raised an eyebrow in confusion. What other scandal was he talking about? I went into the dinning room where he sat and looked into his phone. I let out a gasp when I saw it's content. It hadn't been up to two hours since I left the mortuary and a long article had already been posted. Apparently, a picture of me with the vampire guy was uploaded and an article which said I was on to my next boyfriend was written right under the picture. I face palmed in distress. This is exactly what I avoided earlier.

He kept patting the corpse's back in an attempt to wake the Toad Voodoo Sovereign up. However, there was no longer any breath in him. The Scorpion Voodoo Sovereign roared, “How could you kill Toady?! I’ll fight you to the death!” The Scorpion Voodoo Sovereign transformed into a dark, shadowy figure and sped right toward Chase.

Leon panted, scanning the dim corridor as his breath came in uneven bursts. Suddenly, a faint figure emerged out of the shadows—the female ghost. Her face was blurred and indistinct, her presence otherworldly. She didn’t speak but raised a hand that glowed faintly blue, pointing silently in a specific direction. Leon froze, instinctively stepping back half a pace. But time was slipping through his fingers, and hesitation was a luxury he couldn’t afford. Clenching his jaw, he forced himself to follow the ghost’s lead.

" Two guards in black immediately moved in, ignoring Nellie's struggle as they dragged her toward the exit. Around them, guests lifted their phones, snapping pictures and laughing under their breath. Voices overlapped, mocking how pathetic the Scott siblings were, laughing that people like them might as well be dead. What they didn't know was that I was already dead. And Nellie was suffering from the same illness I had. She didn't have much time left either.

He tried to trace the IP; the Ghost bounced the signal off a satellite in Antarctica, a toaster in Tokyo, and a library in Brazil. But Altair was Vespera Thorne’s son. The grove seemed to pulse with life, and the presence of the spirits was stronger than ever. As they ventured deeper into the grove, they encountered various spirit-based obstacles and traps. Allan used his shadows to create safe pathways, and Elara's flames provided light and warmth. Lila's connection to nature allowed her to sense the spirits' movements, guiding the group safely through the grove.

“Who we are does not matter, what matters is that the Wolves will die tonight!” Zephyr huffed, produced out his sword, and quickly sprinted towards him. “Ha! Do you not know where you are? I am Ghost! You will not be spared tonight!” he replied. Seeing Zephyr rush over, Ghost steadied himself. “Wolf’s Howl!” Ghost howled, with that the attack started. Even though he looked barbaric and unruly, he was very careful. Seeing how many of his men had been slaughtered, even if he did not know who Zephyr was, he knew he was formidable.
