Too clear. He knelt. His reflection stared back. Then it smiled. Grayson immediately stepped away. His own face continued smiling inside the water. "You've always chased ghosts." The voice belonged to him. Yet it wasn't. "You failed your mother." The reflection's silver eyes darkened. "You failed Savannah." "You failed Noah."

Monstrous, unseen things were right behind me, their cold breathing echoing directly against the nape of my neck. I whipped my head back in absolute terror, trying desperately to glimpse whatever was hunting me—and because I looked back, I never saw the edge. My feet suddenly hit empty air. A breathless gasp escaped my throat as my balance vanished completely. I plunged downward into a pitch-black abyss, the force of the fall dragging me into its terrifying depths like a physical hand. All you need to do is look… deep.” The whole street goes dark, bringing out the contrast of the dark eyes even more. I step back, and all of a sudden, the ground disappears. It becomes a perfect mirror of the darkening sky. I let out a scream, trying to run, but it feels like falling now. My feet can still touch something solid, but a force of gravity is yanking at me, making me feel like I’m getting absorbed into a sandpit. I stagger back, trying to get away. But the absence of movement in my feet makes me fall flat on my back.

His skin tears and stretches, painful grunts falling from him with every inch of transformation and when he falls against the ground, I turn away, hiding my face unable to take much more of the gruesome transformation.

Grayson was surprised, but he decided to ignore the warning and continued staring at Belle's phone. Suddenly, a horrifying jump scare appeared from the screen, startling him to the point of almost throwing the phone away. The animated image depicted a ghost with bleeding eyes, nose, and mouth, its terrifying gaze seemingly targeting those attempting to access Belle's phone. Gathering his composure, Grayson scrolled down, encountering more eerie images before reaching a password-protected lock screen. Despite trying various passwords, none proved correct.
