The cats all stare at me, I tell them I’m sorry and then take a big step over the edge and let gravity pull my body further and further down. All I can see is blackness. For a few seconds, I feel wind against my face and my hair is blown back as I fall, and then it stops. Everything is still black, but I can’t tell if I’m still falling, or if I’m suspended in space, or if everything is nothing.

Sam said as she tilted her head at me. "If you watch horror movies at night, then there is no doubt about it. You are a certified demon." I laughed as I moved away from Sam who was moving closer to me. "Oh! You're so dead, roomie." Sam said as she did something with her eyes that made the coloured part go up and only the white part was visible. She looked just like people who had been possessed in horror movies.

Lysander’s hand was on her throat. "You were a useful tool," he whispered. "But the contract is up." "No," Vespera tried to scream. "No, I changed it! I fixed it!" "You can't fix gravity," Lysander laughed. His fingers opened. The drop. The sickening lurch of her stomach into her throat. The rush of air roaring like a train. The terrifying acceleration. She was falling. Falling toward the cold asphalt. Toward the end. And this time, there was no waking up.

“I don’t have to show myself. You know me. You know me better than anyone. The truth is, I was the one who raised you. I was the one who made you into what you are. All you need to do is look… deep.” The whole street goes dark, bringing out the contrast of the dark eyes even more. I step back, and all of a sudden, the ground disappears. It becomes a perfect mirror of the darkening sky. I let out a scream, trying to run, but it feels like falling now. My feet can still touch something solid, but a force of gravity is yanking at me, making me feel like I’m getting absorbed into a sandpit. I stagger back, trying to get away. But the absence of movement in my feet makes me fall flat on my back.

The grange was too vast for her to clean all by herself. Owino and Melina arrived. Their car honked its horns to alarm them of their arrival, Amanda swifter to go open the door for them. She was weak from all the enervation, she did not get a fortuitous to eat during the day, she leaned towards the gate after opening for them, her legs were shaking, her body was getting pale, her stomach grumbled out loud, she held her forehead showing her tiredness. The storm came, and the ashes caught on fire, burning everything until only ashes remained. The ghost seems to have appeared in a blur, softly but flickering at the bottom of her eyes.

Standing above the crater that formed around Skyler, Ghost reared his head and bellowed, unleashing a massive shockwave and blowing away the smoke shrouding him. "Hehe. At our level, vision is not all that important… Smoke bomb? That'd never work!" Ghost sneered even as he looked downward at Skyler. "You… bastard…" She struggled to open her eyes to see Ghost. And when she finally could, she was once again left speechless by fear as Ghost's body started mutating again.

Suddenly, a horrifying jump scare appeared from the screen, startling him to the point of almost throwing the phone away. The animated image depicted a ghost with bleeding eyes, nose, and mouth, its terrifying gaze seemingly targeting those attempting to access Belle's phone. Gathering his composure, Grayson scrolled down, encountering more eerie images before reaching a password-protected lock screen. Despite trying various passwords, none proved correct.
