He Ghosted Our Emergency

He Ghosted Our Emergency

I stood quietly with Chloe's urn in my arms. I just wanted to stay close to her. Then my phone rang. I didn't even have to look. Years ago, I'd given Richard his own ringtone. I answered. For once, he sounded hesitant. Almost guilty. "Selena, Grace's son was in a car accident. He's lost a lot of blood and needs a transfusion immediately. His blood type is rare. Grace isn't a match, and the hospital's running low. Blood from another hospital might not get here in time."

The Return of General Williams

The Return of General Williams

He looked intently at Tim, but instead of looking back, he knocked on the window to alert the driver, who was trying to restart the vehicle. As an Emergency Medical Technician, he had heard stories of how the ghost of the dead caused vehicles to break down or attack the driver especially if their deaths were untimely and sudden. “But he is not dead,” he mumbled and got out of the car. Tim got out, too, and met the overwrought driver. “What happened? Why did you suddenly stop?” He inquired despite his state of mind. “I heard a strange noise in the engine. Did you hear it?” “No. I didn't,” he answered.

SSSHHH: LAST WORDS OF A KILLER

SSSHHH: LAST WORDS OF A KILLER

Then I saw Gina gasping as if she saw something, I followed her gaze, shock and terror hit me hard due to the scene in front of us. The killer standing right in front of us in the middle of road, waving at us. Gina turned the steering immediately, the tires squealed and Gina screamed as the car slipped on the road, made some bumps and fell in the river following at the side of the road. Pain – extreme pain and a lurking shadow were the last things I noticed before darkness fell upon me. ------------------------------AUTHOR’S POV------------------------------. Few moments later; Zara opened her eyes and looked around. The killer was not in the sight. She sighed heavily and then thought about

Trapped in the Crime Lord's Obsession

Trapped in the Crime Lord's Obsession

“Next thing we knew, he drove off without saying anything.” “What bad news?” I demanded, my patience fraying. He swallowed, his eyes flicking to the floor. “Ghost, his sister. She’s dead. She was murdered.” My eyes widened, shock slamming into me like a freight train. My hand flew to my mouth again, a gasp escaping before I could stop it. Ghost—Damon’s sister, the one he’d tried to call, the one he’d trusted—was dead. Murdered.

VOWS OF DECEPTION; THE CEO I HATE

VOWS OF DECEPTION; THE CEO I HATE

I yelled at once. I commanded and it happened. The light went down and so did the glass at the back seat of the car did and a voice just so familiar said, “hop in and lets go” “Hum… he is a ghost” I said silently. “Not entirely” he replied sharply. With no iota of fear, I hopped into the car and the car zoomed off.

Throwing Away What He Had

Throwing Away What He Had

A black sports car drove past me, but a few seconds later, it turned back and headed toward me. The window rolled down, and the person inside said, "It's the middle of the night. I thought I saw a ghost." The voice sounded familiar, but I didn't have the mental energy to figure out who it was. I ignored him and kept walking. Just then, a sudden honk startled me, so I stumbled and fell to the ground. I simply stayed sitting on the ground, not getting up.

His Ghost Knife

His Ghost Knife

Subtle, but I notice everything. Klaus de Luca. He didn’t see me as he entered a room alone. I didn’t hesitate. Silently, smoothly, I followed. The door was just starting to close when— CRASH! A vase flew at my head. I ducked instinctively, the ceramic shattering against the wall behind me. I straightened slowly, blade already drawn. Then I heard his voice. Low. Calculated. “So... you’re the Ghost Knife. The woman with no past. No future. Who sent you ? .”

Daddy's Little Secret

Daddy's Little Secret

“It is the anchor trauma.” Zara looked around wildly “Which one? There are like thirty crashed cars here.” I turned slowly, following the pull. “There,” I said, pointing toward a crushed silver sedan halfway merged with the center barrier. As we moved toward it, the air thickened. The ghost images around that car were stronger, louder and more solid. We were close. The timer hit 04:10. Jamal reached the driver side door and froze. Inside the flicker of overlapping time, I saw it too.

In Love With My Brother-in-law

In Love With My Brother-in-law

It wasn't about the car being tampered with, why would anyone want to do that? I just hoped nothing happened to my baby. I tried calming down and when I did, I got back into the car, reversed it, and headed back into town. I need to get to the bottom of this. Writer's point of view…. Vivian came down from the cab in front of the hospital gate and there stood Susan shedding tears. She was stunned for a moment, do ghosts cry? Vivian wondered then walked forward to Susan's ghost. On getting closer to her, she saw blood dripping from her dress, apparently, she had been injured.

You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone

You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone

Not even an expert driver could've stopped in time. Fortunately, he was driving slowly and hit the brakes in time. Otherwise, the person who resembled a ghost would've ended up in the hospital for at least half a month. The person lying on the ground had a head of long hair. Their clothes were covered in mud and ash, making them seem like someone fleeing a disaster in olden times. Hector got out of the car and dialed 911 as he walked up to the person. "Are you bleeding anywhere? Are you hurt?"

CHARMSTIDJA
Dam*! this story captivates my adrenaline I'll have to force myself for an interval, how much more assaults Callie has to go through before she gets her happy ending. Lily in the name of wealth/fame is just another typical homewrecker hypocritical Bit*h! too many exist even in non-fictional world

i just started reading. i hope it is not as disappointing like other stories i read, exciting to read in the beginning because of the great character build up, but more chapters were added, the more the story become disappointing. The character came out of what they where built up. I hope not.
