" Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that. "But you can see ghost duh!” I said with full of sarcasm. "Yep. If it's a real ghost, and are you scared in ghosts? Opps.. you’re a ghoster remember?" And my crazy friend laughed as if she wasn't a ghoster too. "Wow am I the only ghoster here? You too" I muttered to her. "Hmm Aeshe whats the feeling of being ghosted?” she asked me out of nowhere. "Did you see the guys who cry when we are leaving them? I pressed the book to my chest. My gaze bravely—against my will—traveled the corners of the room, into the crevices and along the shadowed walls. A soft whisper hit the base of my neck. “Don’t be fooled.” It was sweet like a woman’s voice, but it held malice, and I found myself standing in the midst of one of those paranormal investigation shows, where the friendly ghosts had moved on, and I was stuck with whatever the devil rejected. “I’m no fool,” I whispered back.

That line alone sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't think about it. What was that supposed to mean? I couldn't love two people? “You can’t believe everything written by ghosts,” he said, almost teasing. His gold eyes caught the candlelight, and my heart skipped a bit.

I sighed and prepared to microwave a box of macaroni and cheese. But when I turned around, I spotted a note pressed under something on the table. It was in Nathaniel’s familiar handwriting, though this time, his note held a hint of cold anger. [Wasteful.] I was stunned for a moment before I burst out laughing. This ghost was not just a good cook, but he was also thrifty and responsible. I liked that. I immediately picked up a pen and wrote back. [My bad, Nat. It’s just a joke. Let’s just stick to homemade food from now on. I won’t bring up that extravagant nonsense again, okay?]
