Nephilim: Supernatural Bad Boys IV

Nephilim: Supernatural Bad Boys IV

I pull back with a gasp, but no one else seems to notice the golden glow that is beginning to permeate through the book. I look up at the men. “Do you see that?” I whisper as the words begin to shift, and the writing begins to change. They all shake their heads and gaze down at the book intently. Creighton looks back at me in question. “What do you see?” I shake my head as I try to form words. I’m sure I look like a gaping fish. “I…I…the book is glowing, and the words are changing into…” I have to stop because my body begins to get cold, and my vision begins to dim. The glow intensifies and spills out of the book, moving like dribbling water in my direction. I try to back away, but it’s like

Her Double Trouble: My Alpha and My Mate

Her Double Trouble: My Alpha and My Mate

I didn't know if he lacked desire for me that way after what happened with Sebastian, or if the weight of everything behind us, before us, was just too much. The way he held me though, the warmth of his touch, it kept the cold at bay, but my thoughts would drift back to Sebastian. I'd lie awake, staring at the ceiling, wondering how much longer he could hold on. Wondering if I had already lost him for good. And then, there was this book I had found in Gabe's things. It was dusty, half-forgotten, with brittle pages that smelled like ancient magic. It wasn't something I had ever seen before, and flipping through it gave me an odd feeling, like the words were whispering secrets meant only for m

Got Ghosted

Got Ghosted

" Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that. "But you can see ghost duh!” I said with full of sarcasm. "Yep. If it's a real ghost, and are you scared in ghosts? Opps.. you’re a ghoster remember?" And my crazy friend laughed as if she wasn't a ghoster too. "Wow am I the only ghoster here? You too" I muttered to her. "Hmm Aeshe whats the feeling of being ghosted?” she asked me out of nowhere. "Did you see the guys who cry when we are leaving them? And to see a guy crying with just a week of flirting with them it would have been a lot of pain that it caused them to cry like that." I said to her.

Taken By The Beast

Taken By The Beast

I pressed the book to my chest. My gaze bravely—against my will—traveled the corners of the room, into the crevices and along the shadowed walls. A soft whisper hit the base of my neck. “Don’t be fooled.” It was sweet like a woman’s voice, but it held malice, and I found myself standing in the midst of one of those paranormal investigation shows, where the friendly ghosts had moved on, and I was stuck with whatever the devil rejected. “I’m no fool,” I whispered back.

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

The choice to be present. She read the dedication on the porch, her eyes wet. "You're going to make me cry." "That's the point." --- Celeste — my sister — published her first book. A novel, about a woman who inherits a house by the sea, who discovers the letters of the women who lived there before, who learns to stop running. It was beautiful, haunting, full of ghosts. "Not about us," she said at the launch. "About everyone." "That's the same thing." ---

Two hot Alphas bet on the biker-widow mate

Two hot Alphas bet on the biker-widow mate

“This book was written by someone who was exactly like me centuries ago, so I wanted to know more information on how to survive this. You don't think I'm going to wait here to die, right?” He nodded. “You're right, but what exactly are you looking at, and what did you find out?” I showed him what I saw, and especially the last line that I just read. That line alone sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't think about it. What was that supposed to mean? I couldn't love two people? “You can’t believe everything written by ghosts,” he said, almost teasing. His gold eyes caught the candlelight, and my heart skipped a bit.

A Ghost Cooked For Me

A Ghost Cooked For Me

I sighed and prepared to microwave a box of macaroni and cheese. But when I turned around, I spotted a note pressed under something on the table. It was in Nathaniel’s familiar handwriting, though this time, his note held a hint of cold anger. [Wasteful.] I was stunned for a moment before I burst out laughing. This ghost was not just a good cook, but he was also thrifty and responsible. I liked that. I immediately picked up a pen and wrote back. [My bad, Nat. It’s just a joke. Let’s just stick to homemade food from now on. I won’t bring up that extravagant nonsense again, okay?]

I believe I’m about halfway through. This story is amazing, and definitely deserves a lot more notice. I see it’s completed and genuinely hope it is and you didn’t just stop updating it. The characters are great, the back stories to them especially Asher is amazing. Definitely recommend this book!

Hey Readers! I’ve poured my heart into about 80 chapters, yet not a single review. How am I supposed to know if the story is good, worth continuing, or if you’re dropping it halfway? Your feedback motivates me and keeps this story alive. No reviews soon, I’ll take a break and hold back new chapters.
