Daddy dearest had willingly and comfortably given up his house for gambling money. I wasn't going to give it up too. I pulled open my laptop. "Well, let's get to searching shall we?" I whispered. Gideon. You'd think they gave up their identity when that dude said Gideon untill you find out that they are over 25,000 people named Gideon and over 5,000 people who are named 'Gideon loan' And there was nothing useful on Gideon's biker gang. It was a dead end. But I wasn't giving up that easily.

Then added, quick, almost dismissive — don't worry, I'll take care of him. I sat back and let that settle. Gideon. I knew that name. Used to be one of Felix's friends, way back, always hanging around the house when we were kids. He stopped coming over after he lost both parents in an accident, and i really haven't thought about the guy in years, honestly. So what the hell business does he have with Hannah that puts him inside a secret like this?

I leaned to whisper to Wade, "Gideon was coming over." Wade nodded and said, "Go and receive him. I doubt shy Damien can handle him." I stood up, excused myself, and walked to the entrance. I found Gideon staring at Damien in awe. Damien on the other hand had taken a step back and looked away shyly. "Gideon, you are here," I announced purposely to snap him out of the trance. He looked at me and asked, "This is?" while his hand gestured at Damien. "This is Damien. He is Wade's personal assistant," I informed him.

An elderly but good looking man greeted as he walked over to us. "Good evening Mr. Hudson and happy birthday," Philip replied with a smile. Undoubtedly the celebrant. "Thank you, son, I'm assuming this beautiful young lady beside you is your wife." I smiled at him, "Happy birthday Sir, I'm Giordana Forbes, Philip's wife." He accepted my outstretched hand. "Babe I'd like you to meet Mr. Denver Hudson my mentor and business partner, Mr. Hudson like she said, this is Giordana Forbes, my beautiful wife."

"Look, it's the special forces! I've seen that man before. He's the second-in-command of the special forces, Gideon Sachs. He's a capable subordinate of Mr. Hills, and he's also a skilled ancient martial artist." "Wow, Mr. Murphy had someone of such status to come over… Things are going to get interesting." The people gathered there started to whisper to each other and looked at Woody in pity. Gideon took large strides, and there was a domineering air around him. He said, "Who was the one who had the guts to beat up my brother-in-law? They must be bloody tired of living!"

Robbie sounds completely dumbfounded and I'd bet my last dollar that most of the men that are in this room feel the same including myself. "You really believe that you are doing good, don't you?" I ask. I need to hear him answer me. I need to hear the words. "Of course." He nods. "We are just doing the goddess's work. We are just helping those that need it." How has he kept up such a good act all of this time? He has been the doc at this pack for decades and yet, always kept up his act. How have I never noticed how fucked up in the head he truly is? How hasn't anyone noticed?

Fearful that my father had been correct about us both being imprisoned, I was surprised by Cedric patting my upper arm and telling me to relax. “Who is your red-eyed companion?” I questioned him. Chuckling, he replied, “That's Gideon Landers, the former Council assassin, but he's retired now and only comes to help when asked.” Concerned, I asked him if my dad would be disposed of, and he narrowed his green eyes and shook his head. “An investigation will be conducted, and he will likely get sentenced to a few years or more for being untruthful, ” he explained, and I exhaled deeply.

At least the live one's did since most of the bees died after stinging Brady. Zion's eyes were no longer on Brady, they were settled on the principal's figure at the door, his jaw set and his demeanor rigid. There was something odd about this entire situation, but I couldn't put a finger on it. All I knew was that by the look on Zion's face, he had something to do with this little stunt on Brady.

That was something I didn’t want to know. Once we were upstairs, Barnaby handed me my phone and a charger. I plugged it in and waited for it to charge enough to turn it on. There were no new messages. I sighed and called my lawyer. This new man was much craftier than the one who used to work for me. He could get a lot more done and quicker than the last one. I often wondered if he was really a criminal disguising himself as a lawyer. He was definitely fishy, but I couldn’t complain as he got results.

Davis's POV “Gideon had confirmed being asked to do some task relating to the kidnapping of a child but was immediately asked to drop the job” Vincent explained as we walked out of the room. “What's that? Who's Gideon?” I raised a brow as I walked out of the room, leaving the fucking doctor to cough his lungs out. “A leader of a small gang in Westfield. He is one of the men sent last time for the mission with Austin” Vincent explained as he went on to show me the guy's picture on his phone.
