They was the sound of water touching the ground with full force indicating there was a wave nearby. Cleopatra was clad in a silk, transparent green dress with high neckline, long sleeves and a high slit. Her bare feet gingerly glided over the cold floor. There was a large crystal ball in the middle. Her hands hovered over it, causing it to shine bright. A lone raven flew in that moment and perched on her shoulder. All of a sudden a host of other ravens flew inside the cave…

The lady was surprised and confused when he suddenly cut her off. "Y-Yes? I think she placed it on her vanity area." He felt like he was being poured with a glass of cold water when his speculation was confirmed. Hyde remembered it when he went to the victim's vanity table. He remembered what it looked like. A bird darker than a crow, and usually eats flesh from dead animals. A bird that means DEATH... A CARRION CROW.

The door opened, and the familiar honey scent of my destined mate hit my nostrils. Ariella released her grip on me, and we both turned to look at Raven. She was wearing a marching v-necked long-sleeved blouse, a wide belt, and an ankle-length plaited skirt that accentuated the curves of her hips. She was much cleaner than before, her thick black hair hanging down her back in luscious waves. "Why didn't you tell me?" She demanded, and I stiffened. "Raven---" "I, Raven Annette Declan, reject--"

Raven rolled her eyes " Didn't you just say you'll roast him alive" She frowned in confusion " Wait! How did he even call you directly, are you.. " I'm Meek and he's Eight, we're Venom's companions" Meek said with an outstretched hand, Raven enveloped her hand with his, she wondered why she felt like she was drowning while staring into his deep brown eyes. " Uh.I I'm Raven Smith, the eldest miss of the Smith family, it's nice to meet you both" **** Even as Olivia scanned the entire hall, she couldn't find anything that could have frightened Daera.

‘’But you can call me Raven for short. She looked amused. ‘’You are doing a pretty good job at transforming your identity, Raven. I like the name. It has the ominous appeal to it.’’ I bought a lot of clothes in different shades of black and dark green. I picked only a few gowns for occasions. Bree stuck to her brighter colours - pink, purple, white, the whole rainbow. I saw a nice dark leather jacket and picked it up. ‘’This will suit Aaron, right?’’ I said, holding it up to her.

“My darling daughter, Raven, I am so happy to have found you. We are delighted that you are now part of our family again. You are a beautiful, kind hearted, intelligent woman, and one day you will lead our people and make our kingdom great again. We are all thankful to be here with you today to witness the uniting of two wonderful young people who have fallen in love.” Raven turns to look at me and smiles, and my heart begins to beat out of my chest. I do love her, I know that now. “Kieran, will you please repeat after me?” I nod, and Delaney continues. “I Kieran pledge my love and life to you, Raven.” “I Kieran pledge my love and live to you, Raven.” “And I promise to always be here for you

The night Club Eden swallowed Raven Knight whole, she wasn’t wearing red, but she should have been. She stepped through the velvet-draped entrance in fitted black slacks, a satin top that caught the light like oil, and a pair of heels she borrowed from her best friend Talia. Her press badge was tucked into the lining of her purse, a necessary betrayal. No one got inside Eden without a story, and hers was as carefully crafted as the lies written on her face. She wasn’t here as Raven Knight, investigative journalist for The Mirror. Tonight, she was Raye Kincaid, aspiring dancer, newcomer to the city, and too naïve to understand that the club she walked into wasn’t just elite, it was owned by t

The image formed uninvited in my mind; some idiot intern standing close and smiling at her, thinking he has a chance or even touching what’s mine? I don’t remember pushing the door fully open or entering the room, all I know is that I see him, James, one of the junior doctors. He was leaning against the locker, standing with a nasty smile on his face while Raven’s back was turned. He was staring at her ass! “What the hell is going on here?” I growled. Raven spins around, eyes widening like she didn't expect me to find her.“Killian…” She gasped and then glanced at James real quick.

I stopped at the door and waited calmly for her to finish. After a long wait, Jaime finally stepped out, straightening her clothes. Derek followed behind her. She paused when she saw me and tugged at her collar to hide the marks on her neck. The reporters she had arranged were already present, and the broadcast was live. Her expression returned to normal. She glanced at me and spoke in a cold voice. “Joseph, you need to understand your situation. Your mother’s life is still in my hands. If you do not want her to die, you had better admit your mistake properly in front of the media.”

I wondered why he was looking for Raven. What did he want from Raven? How did he know Raven? Did he know Raven is the historical raven wolf? I was lost completely in my thoughts when I heard a growl. “ Who are you? What is your purpose here at the golden Lycan pack, witch? “ I spun my head around and saw that I had finally arrived at the main gate of the golden Lycan pack. I exhaled and clicked my purse open, searching for the pack's emblem. “ My name is Glinda, a friend of beta Zander Sloan and Raven, the new beta female. I am from Eros Sloan's clan, the Sky Moon Clan in south Alaska. “
