"She is bleeding more than a werewolf should. I’m not sure why her regeneration isn’t working properly, but it may be because her wolf is new." Kenziel’s heart sank at Herzl’s explanation. The thought of Rebecca's vulnerability weighed heavily on him. He paced the room, his footsteps echoing in the silence. "There must be something we can do." He muttered, running his fingers through his hair. "We can't just let her bleed like this." Herzl's expression was grave. "Kenziel, this is a delicate situation. Rebecca is our Luna. We must ensure her safety and well-being at all costs. But I fear that rushing a solution might do more harm than good."

Carved into the center of the stone arch. Henry let out a slow breath. “She was right.” I ran my fingers across the carving. Time had worn away most of its edges, but the shape remained clear. A crescent moon. A wolf. And beneath them… Three stars. “First Luna,” Rowan murmured. Henry unfolded the note again. “‘The truth belongs beneath the First Luna.’” He looked around. “So where exactly is beneath her?” None of us answered. Instead, we stepped inside. The mausoleum was colder than the forest outside.

“What do you see here?” “Oh, I bet you know, Suna.” I sucked in a sharp sigh. Hate to admit it, but I DO KNOW what’s beyond the cliff. At a distance far below the cliff the three of us were at, a massive goblin village, well-equipped with their crude defences and walls, is built. It didn’t take much effort to see where the ruler of all the goblins is, when this existence called goblin chieftain itself is the biggest in the village, and is equipped with decently forged armour and weapons.

There was a pause—thick, uncomfortable silence as the word Luna settled into the space between them. Nina blinked. Then she recovered quickly, her smile sharp and feline. “How charming. I didn’t think Knox had the temperament to manage a mate. Let alone someone with your… interesting presence.” Lydia smiled wider. “Interesting is better than forgettable, isn’t it?” Knox coughed into his hand, clearly stifling a laugh. Nina’s eyes flashed. “Well, I suppose it makes sense. Some of us are chosen by birth. Others… settle where they can.”

And together we slowly stood up from under the table. Again the sight of several dead people met my eyes. It was hard to look away, hard to ignore the blood and the unseeing eyes and the cold, deathly silence. Hard to see where people had once dined on my account, flowing with blood. My heart was broken beyond fixing.

The goblin speech was like listening to birds and lizards all at once, saturated with high tones and heavy on the ears. Shieena spoke and the goblin listened. Then he slapped her. His hand flew through the air and slapped her with considerable force. Nio reacted instinctively and by focusing his magic pushed the goblin away. More goblins appeared on the barricades of the settlement. Those goblins weren't archers. They were dressed in simple tunics and were preparing to use magic. Then Elder Simon spoke. “Allow me to introduce to you the future Luna of this pack. Elena is the daughter of Alpha Victor. She is from a distance back on the northern borders. She is a strong pure blooded she wolf. She is powerful, elegant and worthy to stand beside you both as Luna.” My chest felt like it had been crushed.

The five of us were trapped inside a magical net capable of nullifying our powers. “Shit,” Aris said angrily. Suddenly it began to shake, and goblins came out of the ground. They were different from the goblins that helped us in the wasteland; these ones looked smaller. Once they were all below us, one of them began to laugh. I knew right away that he was the leader. “This loot is very powerful,” the goblin said. “I wonder what we can do with them.” The goblins started laughing, and suddenly I saw my mother in the background.

But the creature's grip only turned harder! Anita grunted loudly and used all her strength to drag the creature from her behind and smacked it on the ground! However, the creature vanished before it could even collide with the ground. "Damn!" Anita cursed beneath her breath! She was terribly displeased! The creature appeared again, this time, it's eyes were visible, and they appeared like a red pool if burning fire! Anita inhaled and exhaled loudly. It was at this time she knew she couldn't defeat this creature in her mortal form, but she was a Luna.
