Then I retracted my finger. “I know what you’re thinking, but I don’t think that’s it.” I then turned to the goblin chieftain. “Whatever it is, that girl doesn’t look like she’s chained, but she didn’t look that attached to the chieftain to be called his woman. I’d say, accomplices?” Clairmont pondered a bit. His golden irises scanned the surroundings as if looking for more information regarding the scene in front of him, before he added. “Maybe. It’s a rarity for humans to join hands with goblins, but’s it’s never an impossibility.”
