The Adversary Dark Prince (POV) When people notice the jagged scar on my arm, their eyes often widen with worry, and they jump to conclusions that are far from the truth. It's a common reaction, especially in a world where scars usually hint at pain or violence. But this scar tells a different story—it's not a sign of suffering; it's a symbol of something beautiful and meaningful in my life. Each curve and line of the scar represents resilience and a deep bond that has lasted through challenges, showing that not all scars are reminders of hurt. “They're bleeding…” He smiled at me and said softly “it's fine, it happens sometimes. Besides, they'll heal” He was wrong. My hands traced along the deep cuts on his shoulder, his body tensed under my touch. I looked up from the wounds and met Scar's eyes directly in front of me. His pupils were dilated, his lips parted slightly and he looked absolutely breathtaking. “Your eyes” there were no longer fully green, they had a glint of gold in them and I found myself mesmerized by their color.

He said, patting his lap, and I crawled over to straddle him, leaning down to the scar on his rib side. “How did you get this scar?” I asked, tracing my finger on the scar. “I got that scar during a fight, not really a fight per se. My father and I were training with a knife, so he mistakenly cut me, but it was nothing serious because it healed that same day.” He explained. “But why did it leave a scar?” I asked curiously. “The knives we use to train are usually laced with silver, but not too much.” He replied. Suddenly, his eyes lost focus, probably receiving a mind-link from someone before he returned to his normal self.

I begin conjuring my magic in preparation for the fight. I look over at our new arrivals and assess them. One of the ghouls has a medium frame with a buzz cut . The other one is probably close to six feet, short brown hair, and has a thick red scar running from his cheek to his chin. They scan the crowd and their eyes land on Kieran. “Just the man we’ve been looking for!” Scarface says as they begin strolling towards us. The patrons standing in their path quickly move before they get trampled.

It took me a second to realize I had in fact walked into a wet man. My eyes slowly traveled up his body. His muscles were perfectly shaped. A towel hung low around his waist showing off his Adonis belt and packed chest of muscle. He had scars that resembled claw marks going across his right peck. Tattoos cascading down one of his arms and down both legs. His brown hair was long on top and faded on the sides. His beard was barely grown in. His gray eyes sparkled. I couldn’t help but be in awe of the Greek god standing before me.

Tears stained his cheeks. “Yes, it’s me. Please, I know you hated my people but know that I have nothing to do with them. They tried to kill me too. I tried to save Asher and Zara but they dragged me away. They tortured me.” He held out his arm that has an ugly burned scar around it. Eve’s gazed soften.

Scar is seated on the bed operating a laptop,she looked up to the man beside her tall and well built,his eyes deep like eyes that held many secrets and knows maybe too much. “Marcus,that works well in our favor, you'll upload the video,my health report,the scan results and everything related to my failing health on my official page when I step out,let's use their delusion against them” She scoffed reading comments under a post bashing her. “Karma,they say karma caught me,that bitch karma is scared of me” He slowly unbottoned his shirt revealing a tattoo covering his chest and stomach,an eagle holding a snake with it's claws,he got into the bathtub slowly.

Gunner chuckled. Holy shit, this is a lot to take in. I lifted my hospital gown and looked down at my stomach. A small faint scar was sitting just below my ribcage. I gently traced my finger over the pale pink mark, it was completely healed. But why did it scar, all my old scars disappeared. Why hasn’t this one? Gunner grabbed the hem of my gown and gently pulled it back down. I eyed him curiously and he smiled softly at me. “We’ll let you two chat” Roe’s voice startled me. I looked over at her. I had completely forgot that she and Lupus were here too.

the older female says and I smile a little before Modok wraps his arm around my waist. "Mother, Father, Eida, this is Xiu," Modok says and I smile at the women before looking at the big male. When I do my eyes widen. The male's face is badly scarred. I haven't seen an injury on anyone the entire time I have been on Kea. Their medical treatments are so good I didn't think people could be scarred like he is. He looks scary with his white eye and a wide healed-over gash that runs from his hairline to his cheek.

I tried to stop scratching but every time I moved my hand away it flared up. I saw Gan-Gan look at Blake without moving her head. I turned to look too. He was just staring at her and I didn’t see anything wrong so I turned back. When I did, Blake had moved behind me to hold me still as Gan-Gan caught my hand mid scratch. “What is the problem? I would have stood still if you needed me to.” I said to them. Gan-Gan pushed my tank over to get a better look at my scar. Blake spoke up, “It looks more like a sun than a scar. And why does it look like it’s pulsing?”
