That night, Leo was conceived. Finally, for the sake of his child, Emory agreed to help. But when I rushed back to my pack lands, ecstatic to tell my parents the news, I was met with a sight that would haunt me for the rest of my life. My parents stood hand in hand before the dying Moonstone. They poured the last of their life force into it, their bodies turning translucent until they dissolved into motes of moonlight. "Liliana," my mother's voice whispered on the wind, "you have to live on."

to ruin the evening. Later, he blocked the link completely—cutting me off from the last thread of the pack’s voice. And so, I died alone beneath the same moon that once marked me as his mate. My brother Gavin faced the same fate. When the healers sent his critical-condition notice, pleading for funds, I tried to reach Rowan again. But he was traveling with Voss, showcasing their new research to the Elders. By the time they returned, Gavin was gone—his wolf fading quietly into the night,

It made a neat arc and hit his cheekbone and slid in a line that looked like a sentence I had finally decided to write. His eyes flashed. He laughed again, wiped it with the back of his hand, smeared it into his beard like paint. “Camera,” he said cheerfully. “Did you get that?” The crewman nodded, sick. The lens shook. “Good,” Ronan said. He turned, shouted to the ring. “Move! We break camp. Blood Moon is tomorrow. The rite holds now like wet mortar. By tomorrow it will be stone. At moonrise, we finish.” He bent close to my ear. “You will thank me by then.”

That's when I bumped into Beta Drew. "Sorry, Beta. I didn't see you there." "That's alright. I heard you asking your father about the Moon family?" he lifted his brow. "Yea. apparently, we don't talk about them?" "Come with me." I followed Beta Drew to his quarters, and we sat in his living room on opposite sides in his armchairs. "Why did you bring me here?" "So we can talk." "You know about the Moons?" "Yes. I was Alpha Felix Moons Beta before your father killed them, and we surrendered to his pack and loyalty."

He stood there for a moment after taking off his shoes and debated on yelling at Linux to go home but headed to the kitchen instead. “So, what did the old man say?” Mara asked as Tarrin walked in and opened the fridge. “He’s sure Bob and May are probably dead, but other than that, “Tarrin shrugged “he wouldn’t give in on telling me anything.” Answering Mara, he grabbed a container of tuna salad and shut the fridge. “Figures.” Mara rolled her eyes and shook her head. “I need more meat.” Tarrin declared, eyeing Mara. “Aw, come on, send the mooch sitting on your couch, he eats most of it!” Tarrin always sent Mara to the butchers to get fresh cut red meat as it got closer to the full moon.

Forth's POV Completing his stamps of acts of community service and processing all his documents he heard a knock on the door. Not realising about 2 days have passed he pulled out his ear pieces. Opening the door he Beam came back to him. He already had Beam this time he had to let him go, he had to make his decision. "Tomorrow night draws the end of the moon thing. Are you going to watch Wayo?" "Yes." "Are you mad at me?"

"I think something bad is going to happen or it already did." {"Casey...are you sure you woke up properly?"} asked Rick slightly annoyed. {"There is no full moon tonight, it ain't till next week, and believe me I've been keeping track in case that asshole shows up again at either of our doorsteps, and there was nothing on the news about people mourning."} "I know what I saw Rick," said Casey frustrated. "Something bad is coming to Fallon Creek."

"Ronan! Target the center boulder on the upper shelf! Spears on my mark!" "Brace!" Ronan yelled, six of his strongest Moonridge warriors stepping forward, their heavy, silver-tipped spears balanced over their shoulders. "Launch!" The weapons flew through the howling wind, striking the frost-cracked stone with a deafening crack. The ancient boulder splintered, the structural integrity of the upper ledge vanishing in a single heartbeat. A massive wave of snow, ice, and heavy stone came cascading down, burying the first line of Blood Moon archers before they could release their strings.

No. This couldn't be happening. ‘I am so sorry about this,’ Moon finally whispered.’But I have to leave you for a while.’ My eyes widened. ‘What?’ ‘They can't know about me.’ ‘Moon, no!’ ‘I will continue trying to reach Rex and Adam.’
