“That's weird, I bet Ethan is hiding something.” It was already night, I was engrossed in the book I found. It wasn't giving me any solution but it had these vampire stories in them. Their do’s and don't, heroes and heroine, the war between them and hunters and their little alliance with the witches. It had a similarity because the man who bit me was a vampire.

She was not dead. When I saw her crimson eyes, I smelled a familiar scent on her. The scent of blood. My blood. “Elena, thank you. For exchanging your blood with mine. Your blood turned me into a vampire.” Sylvia leaned against Kael’s chest, smiling sweetly. I recalled all the years after our marriage. Every time I lay down in my coffin to sleep, my body always felt unbearably heavy. The cold disgust in Kael’s eyes confirmed my suspicion.

Marcelo respectfully bowed before me. "Do you have any spells that can remove the impure blood of a vampire from my mate?" I asked him nonchalantly. The wizard was shocked to hear that my mate was a vampire, the enemy of wolves since the awakening. "Alpha, vampirism is not a curse. It seems like your mate died and was resurrected through the turning process. I have no power to reverse it," Marcelo explained. I let out a sigh of disappointment. I had expected Marcelo to have a solution for me. My request seemed simple enough, but apparently, no one could grant it.

With her secret collection, she knew that the prominent kind residing with humans were vampires. They were categorized in three categories. Pureblooded were those who were born as vampires with parents who were both vampires, they were the strongest. Turned vampires, humans who went through transition. And half-vampires, those who were fruits of the union of vampires and humans.

Am I going crazy then? “You’re not going crazy, Alice” Gabriel said, a deep chuckle erupting from him making the hair on my body stand on end. What is going on? “We are werewolves, Alice. We can read minds… it’s called Telepathy. Plus, I can easily read you from the expression on your face” Someone pour ice water on me. And why is the scent from Gabriel getting stronger and why am I feeling so attracted to him even though I just met him? Oh,no. He must have heard that too.

He held on to her hips and applied vampire speed to his tongue. With a jolt, she screamed. A gush of her sweet fragrance covered his face. She was quivering in her release, panting for breath. I felt happy, content, and sometimes wished I'd have a happy ending. I started going through the books slowly as I checked out their names. Thousands of romance stories stood arranged on the shelf. I squinted my eyes at one that caught my attention. I selected it. "An Omega Breeder For The Ruthless Alpha King." That was the name of the book. I smiled at the book cover. It had a handsome man with a young maiden who looked smitten with her man. Goosebumps arose on my body at their chemistry. That was what books did to me. I imagined myself as the character.
