I need a little help here. The map glows for a moment, points toward the bed, and then goes blank again. I walk over to the bed. I pull back the covers and look under the pillows, but nothing. I go to my knees and look under the bed. Beneath the bed, I see a dark brown and black amulet shining at me, waiting for me to take it home. There is also a set of eyeballs looking at me.

“I want to just confirm again that I will see my mother when I’m done with what you want.” “Yes. You will see your mother.” I answered, and my eyes blazed red for a second before a vicious grin tugged on my mouth. I will show her her mother’s decaying body. I never told her she was still alive in the first place. Zelda, her mother, died at the hands of Lucien, Lucius’ father. She was my father’s witch first, but Lucien bought her from him when he needed a witch to administer his daughter’s cleansing. But she ended up dead. Not that my father or I care. The old man pushed Zelda and jumped a few steps back, “go away… don’t think of robbing this old man.” Zelda’s lips curled into an evil arc, “6 beads, 6 amazonite crystals and a fist full of finely crushed mugwort and clear quartz.” The old man was about to shake his head once again when he felt a gust of wind rush past in… and in the blink of an eye, his waist pouch was in Zelda’s hands. She threw it in the air a few times with a victorious grin before opening and peering inside. She picked out everything she wanted and threw the pouch back to the old man.

Zelda the witch looked me up and down with deep, hollow eyes. "Interesting." She reached out a bony finger and tapped my forehead. She pulled out a squirming stream of black smoke. I stared at the evil mist in shock. "Your wolf's essence is nearly drained," Zelda frowned. "In a month, you'll wither and die." "What?" I gasped. Zelda let the snake on her cane bite my hand, sucking away the leftover black smoke. After a sharp pain, my head felt clearer than it had in months.

I sighed again. “WHAT?!” Ayla nervously asked me. “Exactly what my reaction too. JD is explaining to them everything about Dark Knight.
