Hues of black and white were embedded on the golden brown pages of the material. I saw the graphics of a human and a werewolf. They were doing something strange… some sort of a ritual. Elliot did not flip the pages further so I ended up guessing that that was it.

“Exactly.” Liam leaned in again, his mouth close to my ear. “You lost the bet, princess. And we’re just getting started.” I tried to sound annoyed, but it came out softer than I meant. “You’re both impossible.” “Good thing you like impossible,” Jace said. Liam shifted, angling himself toward me. “We should keep this fair, though. Equal attention.” “Fair?” I repeated. He picked up a grape from the coffee table and held it to my lips. “Open.”

The details were stunning, so intricate and rich. Kiema gasped as she reached out a hand to trace the figures on the page. Lions, wolves, other big cats I couldn't name, dragons, rats or rodents, bears, tigers. Each was beautifully rendered. One of the pages was broken up into cells or frames. A man stood tall in the first frame. In the second, he appeared next to a tall spirit of some kind. The spirit joined with the man in the third frame. The man fell, his face distorted in agony as something pushed from his stomach. In the fifth frame, the man was partially beast, but his expression had changed from pain to pleasure. The last frame the man was gone, except for the shape of his eyes. The

There are a lot of words and a couple of doodles. " This is 20 pages long." I whined. " Kaen did some little drawing here and there to remind him which page is about what without having to read through it again. " Terry gets more comfortable on his chair as he sips his tea. I scan through the first page and I couldn't understand a single word of it. " That's just great...." I bang my head onto his desk hoping the information would magically jump from the pages into my mind and makes sense.

Khyrix immediately stepped between me and the text, "Let me go through it." He laid the book on the table. As he carefully opened the heavy cover to the table of contents, I leaned over his shoulder, holding my breath. There was a strange substance growing all over the pages. Whatever it was, it grew like a network of veins, wrapping tightly around the edges of each sheet. Khyrix’s eyes scanned down the table of contents, instantly opening to page four hundred and thirteen. The page revealed a highly detailed, hand-drawn illustration. It was an exact replica of the massive tree that stood at the heart of our academy grounds.

Page after page -- each more shocking, intimate, and raw than the last. One page simply read: "Free Use Toy" With a drawing of the same girl sitting on a bed, wrists tied to her ankles, head tilted back, cum sketched across her chest, her expression... serene. The page after that? "Training Day One" A collar being locked around her throat. The same girl. Blank eyes. Tears streaking her cheeks. Andrew leaned back. He ran his hand through his hair, staring down at the sketchbook like it had bitten him. He shouldn't feel aroused.

That was all on that page, and beneath the guide was the diagram of a human, which must possibly be a werewolf. The human eyes were shut, his right hand was raised slightly around the level of his abdomen, and his palm was widely open, as if trying to call something to his opened palm. That must be a pictorial guide to what was written at the top. I became more interested in what I was reading. This made me flip to the next page.

The cover was embossed with a symbol that looked like a twisted, enraged claw mark. Nate crossed the room, the ghost sense of Kieran’s touch still tingling on his skin. He stood beside his chair, close enough to feel the warmth coming from him, and peered down at the pages. The script was old, but the images were brutally clear: depictions of wolves, but different. They were monstrously big, their musculature exaggerated and vicious, with four separate, scary sets of fangs in their gaping maws.
