Gravity Falls Ep 10 Novels & Stories

The "Chronological-Borehole" didn't collapse with a bang; it dissolved into the sound of Rain on Asphalt. Avery Vane-Thorne opened her eyes and felt something she hadn't felt in fifty years: Weight. Not the "Basalt-Weight" of the Earth's core or the "Gold-Weight" of the Vanguard, but the simple, heavy pull of a 2024 gravity on a 2024 body. She was standing on a balcony in Geneva, the air smelling of ozone and expensive coffee instead of "Amethyst-Spores."

Lysander’s hand was on her throat. "You were a useful tool," he whispered. "But the contract is up." "No," Vespera tried to scream. "No, I changed it! I fixed it!" "You can't fix gravity," Lysander laughed. His fingers opened. The drop. The sickening lurch of her stomach into her throat. The rush of air roaring like a train. The terrifying acceleration. She was falling. Falling toward the cold asphalt. Toward the end. And this time, there was no waking up.

The silence following the "99% Crash" wasn't peaceful; it was unformatted. The air in the valley was a thick, grey haze of Dead Pixels and static. Every time the wind blew, it made a sound like a corrupted audio file—a rhythmic, digital stutter that scraped against my nerves. I didn't wait for the elevators. I threw myself from the command center balcony, using a localized Gravity-Bypass to slow my descent as I soared toward the glassy crater where Xander lay.

It’s a trap. Then we drop,” Faith said. Killian looked down the deep dark hole, then looked at Faith with an amused grin. “You want to jump down a five-hundred-foot shaft!” “I have anti-gravity, remember?” Faith winked. She held out her hands. Killian took her right hand, and Leo took her left. Hope grabbed Leo’s shoulder, completing the chain. Faith closed her eyes, letting her unique DNA connection flare up. A beautiful, bubble of silver light wrapped around the four of them.

Fiona I kept pleading to my wolf halfway to a devastating fall but she didn’t listen to me and I couldn’t shift. The earth's gravity pulled me to my death faster than I had imagined as I fell facing the sky, the moon’s reflection dancing in my eyes and I wondered if it would be my last view. My back lurched with the terrifying sense of freefall before my body landed with a sickening thud into what seemed like a huge pile of dirt. Sharp pain coursed through my body like a bolt of lightning and I felt my wrist snap, my arm twisted underneath me.

Shit! Is the last thought before darkness engulfs my mind and sight, as I feel like I'm endlessly falling, falling, falling, then, nothing. Oops. Elias POV My astonishment at her gumption, at her will, as I watch on with pride at my Chilli trying to make her father submit, vanishes instantly as she falls to the ground like a puppet whose strings have been severed. Crap! Rushing towards her, I skid the last few feet, just able to catch her head before it smacks onto the hard ground. I let out a sigh of relief as I cradle her upper body in my arms. Reassurance fills me as our skin connects, and I fill her vitals are normal. She is just out cold.

Earth disappeared. Not slow. Not with a crack or warning. Just like that. Mara felt heaviness for a moment. Then she fell. Next to her Jonas. Eva. Lyra. Stone walls ran past them. Silver light lines stretched through the darkness. The shaft was impossible. Much deeper than under an island should have space. Mara screamed. The wind ripped off her voice. Then something strange happened. The case was slower. Not because they hit something. This is because gravity itself became weaker.

Gavin flashed a bright smile. "That's more like it," Leo said with a loud burst of laughter. "I don't need anything. Just don't come back home for the rest of the night." Gavin immediately put on his most professional-looking smile and said, "Yes, sir! Have fun and enjoy yourself tonight!" Leo laughed and yelled at Gavin to chase him off. He then heard Gavin making a call in a corner, addressing the other as "Lucas", and asking if he could stay the night at his place.

His wings still out, tensed, and ready, the rest of us holding our weapons. He moved so fast I didn’t even see him. Sliding past the others as fluid as water going around rocks in a stream he came for me, I felt his arm snag my waist and my feet left the Earth. I heard Devon’s shots fire and Kenneth soared into the air in pursuit. Cassi let out a scream and I heard the others calling my name as we ascended, until they were just specks. Kenneth closing in, aiming his crossbow at Shamshiel’s wings, his purple wings beating as he tried desperately to keep up, his face contorted in anguish as he realized he would not be able to help me. In the blink of an eye Shamshiel closed his wings around us

Wanting to entertain him even more, Bailey dug into the rope with extra force. I shouted with everything I had, hoping someone would hear me. Alas, the roaring wind was too loud. All I could do was slam myself against whatever parts of the wall I could reach, creating noise so the workers above would lower me further. It worked. Slowly, they lowered me toward the fifth floor. Unfortunately, by then, the safety rope had been cut so badly that it finally snapped in two. My body dropped instantly, just like a kite that had lost its string.
