Gravity. I clenched my jaws as the space surrounding the ship suddenly vanished, replaced with land–red, crusty land. The ship tilted down, then dipped before dropping hard like stone. The gravity was stronger than earth's. “We’re falling!” Kael yelled, his voice cutting through the ringing in my ears. “Brace your–”

It brushes the petal. The deck plating beneath us groans. Wrenches upward into a sudden, miniature mountain range, pitching us sideways. Cups, tools, a stray aster plant float gently upwards, released from earthly bonds within a two-meter radius. The Gravity Concept drifts away, humming contentedly, leaving chaos in its wake.

He funneled every ounce of his carnal, Alpha power through the floor, turning the ship’s own mass against it. We fell. The descent was a friction-burned nightmare. Formation covering the island was broken, and the airflow flew in all directions. It was like the wailing of hundreds of ghosts. The whole island began to shake. In the rumbling sound, the stacked ships all fell to the sea surface as if they had fallen apart, causing large amounts of water to splash.
