The fear of losing myself to a monster like him rushed a spine into my whole body system. Too young for this phase I was passing through. No! He wouldn't get down on me so easily.

A scream tore through Lilith's lips, and she crawled away from the grave in sheer terror, panting heavily. As fear consumed her, Lilith felt a presence behind her. Slowly, she turned around, trembling with trepidation. To her astonishment, the dead girl stood there, her sad expression unchanged. They locked eyes, but the dead girl remained silent, her ghostly presence sending shivers down Lilith's spine. Overwhelmed by the sight of the apparition, Lilith rose to her feet and scrambled out of the woods, screaming in fear with each step.

Entire dimensions collapsed. The World Tree bent beneath the force. The battlefield vanished. Then silence. Absolute silence. Nobody could see. Nobody could hear. Then slowly— the light faded. And Thomas was still moving. Still advancing. Still pushing through the darkness. Closer. Closer. Closer. The horror finally understood. Fear. Real fear. The giant eye widened. Then the First King's voice echoed one last time. "The core." Thomas saw it. The tiny point of darkness behind the eye. The true horror.

No matter how hard things got, she, Geraldina Veraldina would always complete her missions. However the next minute she felt her resolve falter. This world… this supposedly normal world was… was a horror genre?! On top of being an unplotted world where anything could happen, it just happened to be a horror story?! “Zero tell me, who the heck did I offend? Is it Jackson? The scene at the Gables’ porch was no longer a private tragedy. The initial, piercing scream had acted like a grim summons, pulling people from their homes and their morning routines. They gathered in a loose, hesitant semicircle, a silent, growing audience to the horror. The air, once fresh with the promise of dawn, was now thick with the metallic tang of blood and the low, anxious hum of murmured voices. Faces, pale and drawn in the morning light, were etched with a familiar dread—the kind that came from knowing that no walls, no matter how well-fortified, could ever truly keep the darkness out.
