I glance at the assortment of food—something golden and flaky, a thick swirl of white yogurt drizzled with honey, dark purple olives, and what looks like grilled cheese.

"Let's get down to business then." He rose from his seat, walked to the bookshelf, and pulled out a large, leather-bound book. He placed it on the coffee table beside his phone with a heavy thud. I scanned the crimson cover. Greek Gods was stamped across the center in elegant gold cursive. "Before you start looking for Nicholas, you need to understand the story of Selene, the Moon Goddess, and Endymion, the mortal who stole her heart." Just hearing Selene's name sent a flare of fury through me. The way she'd pulled my strings and made me dance on her palm like a damn puppet made my blood boil. I had truly believed Sofia was someone I would die for. What a fool I'd been.

I just read the title of the book. Mythology. That's what it says. Mythology? It's just like Greek mythology. Maybe its content is about the Pandorian gods? So I became interested in the book so I brought it and looked for Yuwe and saw that he was already sitting in the empty seat so I approached him and sat down. He looked at me and smiled. "What book did you take?" Yuwe asked me more. I lifted the book before placing it on the table and sitting next to it. "Mythology," I answer here.

Or so I think! There's no one in the library so I have to scour the place to find a book about our kind. I search the 'history' section and I find none. However, finding myself in the 'myths' section, I find a book that seems to be the right one which I'm convinced it's speaking about one of the warriors. I open it up and unknowingly to me, I'm not ready for its contents. It talks about the the moon goddess and her mighty warriors. It also talks about the legend and how they're to descend on earth and surprisingly, I land in the first warrior's name: Hera.

Didn't it suggest that no one had been in here since I left? That was the best possible explanation I could come up with. Regardless I picked up an old book, flipping through its pages, I ended up on a page it was titled: The Moon Goddess. It was probably a myth about the sun and the moon goddess, just a bunch of stories told to young werewolves, sometimes it was meant to scare them, other times to educate. I slammed the book close, I wasn't here for fairy tales and myths. I was here for legends, actually stories that had something to do with me.

As I spin I stifle a scream. Making its way through the trees is something truly out of a myth. From top to bottom it is a mish-mash of creatures. Its twin heads are that of both a goat and a lion. The heads join at the shoulders to the body of a lion, all ending in a tail with a serpent's head. Growing up I was always interested in mythology. The name of the creature easily came to mind; Chimera. I try to back away slowly, hoping it hasn’t yet noticed me.But as per my usual clumsy self, I end up tripping over my own feet.
