"This doesn't feel like love!" “The drive to copulate is powerful for a newly mated dragon. He was trying to complete the mating bond. All feelings are intense for dragons--anger, passion, lust, love, fear. He’s never mated, never even explored options with a pet or willing drakaina.” She wipes her brow with her free hand while the other hand holds me in place. “He put himself on this stupid mountain as far away as possible from the dragon court to get our father off his back about producing heirs.”

Flavius questions with his brows furrowed in confusion. "She is the high priestess of the horde, and the one who will be in charge of our mating ceremony," I tell him. "What’s a mating ceremony?" He asks, sounding even more confused. “Right, I guess I have never explained much to you about dragon culture. It is like a marriage ceremony. It will complete our bond," I say with a soft smile. “So, it’ll be like we’re married,” Flavius murmurs to himself with a light smile.

Jade moved to sit on the bed, with her legs crossed. “What exactly is a Dragon’s mate?” “Basically, it is just like a husband and wife. It is a Dragon’s way of getting married. Except a little different. You see when a Dragon finds his mate, there is no other female for him. They are extremely loyal. In fact, it is physically impossible for a Dragon to be with anyone other than their mate.” Staring at her blankly, I waited for her to continue explaining it to me.

Valmore nodded, accepting what Mallik just said. "We only know about fairy drifters, we don't know about the dragons. Dragons are a race born in fairy, so it must be true. Only drifters have the ability to see us, so it must be true. It must be that Dragon drifter who tripped the drifter sensor" Valmore agreed. Mallik thought the same thing. "It's not the only thing I came across this time. I heard gossip that this dragon drifter's mate looks like the late princess Catherina and she must be Catherina's missing daughter" Mallik shared about the gossip that the entire summer realm is whispering about.

Derek said. "....I will do it. But I want to know who I really am and how I became your mate and why you kidnapped me." Veronica said crossing her arms under her chest. "Okay I will tell you. What is he doing here? " You are not welcomed here." Damian's father said. " I don't care." He replied sharply, not bothered at all by the armed men pointing their arms at him. " I came to pick up my mate. I've given her enough space." I squirmed and freaked at the same time at his voice. I forgot how to breathe when his eyes scanned the environment, for a second, I thought he'd seen me. " That's ridiculous, Lycans and werewolves can't be mates. It's never happened." My father said.

Curling her arm around his arm, she leaned closer and whispered, “ And I love you.” And as Aron finished the last of his words, appealing to the Moon Goddess to bless them, Reyna leaned forward and kissed her mate sealing the mate bond once and for. With this kiss, she was truly mated to a dire wolf for all eternity.

dropping my gaze down to my steel-tipped boots which glimmered against the warm yellow bathroom light, I added, "There's something else." "What do you mean there's something else?" Fear drenched her tone. Was she scared of being mated to me? Drawing in a large breath which inflated my chest, I admitted, "You have to let Orion touch you." "What?" The squeak in her voice forced my gaze to collide with her wide-eyed appalled disposition. "On the cliff, you weren't feeling the things you were only for me. Don't bother lying about it. You have to let him touch you—" "I can't be mated to two men. That's impossible. A fated mate bond only bonds two souls together."

“How could I forget my mate?” He shakes his head, looking at me in confusion. “I thought dragons didn’t have mates.” “Dragons choose their mates,” I say with a smile, “And I choose you.”
