Griffins Dragons Mating 소설 & 이야기

I trailed off. “If you had known what?” “If I had known she felt it back.” Luke cocked his head, his arms crossing over his chest. “What do you mean?” I groaned. That damned werewolf king not allowing his kingdom to teach about the mate bonds of other species. “I’m guessing you don’t know much about how…” I swallowed as I prepared myself to acknowledge to him what I was out loud for the first time. “… about how… dragons… find their mates?” He shook his head and replied, “I assumed it was the same as wolves, honestly.”

If they hit their mating age and still didn't manage to find their fated mates, the king was expected to choose a mate for them to avoid them going feral. Unlike female werewolves who can remain unmated until they go into heat, female dragons cannot stay unmated for long. Instead of going to heat, they go feral. It's also said that during the mating night, the female dragons are often insatiable sexually. If the male isn't strong enough to satisfy their sexual needs, a drug is injected to the female to lower the sexual fervor. After the mating night, most female dragons end up pregnant. According to my mother, that's what they call a successful mating ceremony.

I’m still wondering that when Fraser approaches, coming to stand at my side on the balcony overlooking nothing but miles upon miles of mountains with pearly, snow-capped peaks. My mouth moves before my mind has a chance to catch up. “Were you mated? Before everything?” Fraser exhales deeply, his eyes on the same horizon. “No.” “I’m sorry.” “I’m not.” He tucks his hands into his pockets. Dark circles line his eyes. He looks exhausted. I wonder if exhaustion is a thing for dragons, however, because his eyes are darkened by another emotion I can’t place. “Many a dragon lost their mates during the war that led to our near extinction. I’m the only fire dragon left. If I had a mate, which was rare

"Frederico, the kingdom has fallen. We haven't much time!" Lady Lisbeth Delgaard rushed to where the babies lay, sleeping in their crib. Knowing she wasted precious moments-nevertheless, the Dragonlady gazed upon her children. The twins looked so different, yet she loved them equally as fierce. Ragnar took after her with his fiery temper and the telltale bulk that spoke of his dragon heritage. Whereas Gio was smaller, with dark eyes that changed color according to his mood, and there was no doubt that he held his father's wolf genes. Mixed species couples were killed on sight in Desdayos, and as the war reached the inner sanctum, a difficult decision needed to be made.

he caressed my bottom lip, and leaned in to seal his lips with mine. My heart skipped and raced in my chest from his words but I couldn’t say them back. Luckily for me, his mom appeared in the doorway to tell us the whole of the pack was waiting for us in the woods already. It was a ritual to hold the mating ceremony in the middle of the woods, with the werewolves gathered in a large circle, around the two mates as they howled their vows but in this case, we’d be saying them.

The Kingdom was quiet. The only noise you could hear were the men and women that were training at the end of the day. Onyx and I had been making all kinds of plans for when the Rebels chose to return. It’s been too quiet on the Rebels part, but the babies have been growing. The kingdoms have been growing stronger since we have united. Dragons, Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches have been training together and some have even found their mates in those who have traveled. Those who thought their mates had died a long time ago and gave up hope, had found the mate that was meant for them in a different kingdom. No one rejected their mate.

She's our mate, you need to find her. My wolf said. He became distant from me the day I said to my mother that I didn't need a mate. I know that if I find her I will reject her because Father had already settled and planned my wedding to Loui. It's nothing to me since I don't care who my wife will be. Corithias sat at the entrance of the cave, thinking about his little princess. He was sure she was the little girl he had saved so many years ago. He recognized her scent. She had grown into a beautiful woman. His human body longed to hold her. Alicia was his mate; he knew it in his heart, but how could a dragonith be mated to a human, he pondered. It was not possible. Surely, he must be wrong, he thought…. still, the feeling was so intense.

"I'm not doing anything. We are mates, so it is only natural for us to have this strong connection. It is far behind the point of lust. What we have is eternal. And even when we die, our souls will still recognise the other in our next life." "Is that how the mating thing really works? That means..." She trailed off. "Most times, depending on how long a dragon lives, and if they are lucky their mate gets reincarnated." "Maybe that can happen with my mother and father then." Catori nod. ''What are you talking about?" Rydstorm was genuinely confused. "Farrah, the woman I was telling you about, isn't my real mother. Catoriana was." Rydstorm visibly went ridged.
