With a scream of anguish, Liora plunged her blade through his chest. The golden light flared, swallowing the shadows. “I’m sorry,” she sobbed, holding him close. Caelum smiled faintly as his body crumbled into motes of silver and black. “Thank you… little star.” The Shadow’s Whisper As his essence scattered, a faint, cold voice slithered into her mind: “Do you think this is over? Where there is light… There will always be a shadow.” Liora collapsed to her knees, clutching her chest as golden light bled from her body.

I plead, and she looks into my eyes, searching for any hesitation, but when she doesn’t, she drops my hands and moves away. “Fine, I’ll tell you.” My excitement is swiftly wiped away by her next words. “The shadow god is an abomination. He was never supposed to be born. He’s the product of an unholy ritual, an anomaly.”

"Let's go check out the dead bodies again," Alpha Barker said, walking outside the door. We all stood up again and moved outside just like Alpha Barker had said, to check the dead body again. "I need to open the face," Alpha Barker muttered as he got a face mask from his security and moved closer to the corpse. He opened it and a foul smell filled the area. He closed his eyes immediately and opened it a few minutes later. Alpha Barker looked at the corpse and the face looked exactly like that of Amelia.

“Let’s get this set up. I want to go through as much as possible tonight.” Raphael nodded, dropping his bag by the couch. “Sounds good. I’ll grab my laptop. I have some old notes and film clips from my time with them.” They worked efficiently. Liam cleared the coffee table while Raphael set up his laptop and connected it to the TV. Soon the large screen lit up with game footage of the Shadow Reapers. They settled on the couch — not quite touching, but close enough in the small space that Liam was hyper-aware of every shift Raphael made.

It brightens the area close to them. There, a dark hooded figure stepped out of darkness to reveal itself. Its eyes were as red as blood and its presence gives a chilling and horrifying feel.

--- The Shadow Revealed As the darkness reached the sanctuary, it solidified into humanoid shapes—soldiers of shadow, wielding energy as black as night itself. Their movements were eerily synchronized, almost as if they were one being, connected by a single will. Then, from the center of the swarm, a figure emerged. Taller than any human, cloaked in living shadow, eyes burning with red light that cut through the night. The aura radiated ancient power, far beyond the Overlord, far beyond Ryker.

The enemies ahead were indeed becoming more formidable. "These people work for Finn!" Charles immediately recognized the four people on each side—all of them were Finn's subordinates. "They only sent four people; are they looking down on the Shadowers?" a member of the Shadowers muttered. Charles retorted quickly, "But don't underestimate these four. They make robots, and the robots they design are dangerous and extremely strong. So these people are also called the 'Four Living Reapers'."
