MORTEM

MORTEM

I closed my eyes because I don’t want to see the next scene but the bus suddenly brakes and wakes us up. “I am sorry but I want to rest for a few seconds… My arms and legs are already numb because of the long drive” The driver said and he parked the bus at the side of the road and went down. I looked around to check what happened to the two men that our bus ran over. I keep looking around to see them but I can no longer see them. They were just gone. I saw the driver bring his lighter out and light the cigarette on his mouth after stretching his arms and legs. He is smoking as if nothing’s happened or nothing has really happened and like the girl a while ago. The two men might be part of my

The Omega's Awakening

The Omega's Awakening

I wonder how long I’m going to have to wait. As my mind continues to run through all the things that have happened today, my eyelids slowly droop before completely closing. *** “Zee. Wake up. It's time to go.” I slowly open my eyes and find a bus driver standing in front of me. I can’t get much information from him, besides his name is Gus, or at least that is what is written on his uniform. He also has a spattering of gray hairs telling me he is older.

I bought this book on Barnes and Noble. I love it but my one major critique is when referring to Alpha's, Beta's, and Omega's it is considered a gender and not their status. This has confused me multiple times while reading.

This is a repeat book of “The Male Omega Awakening” by same author except this book is using boy + girl whereas the original book was boy + boy. Same characters except Katelyn is Kane in original and Bridget is Ben and so on. That is why some of the pronouns will throw you off in this book

Love Between Bullets

Love Between Bullets

Alacrimia

Alacrimia

Lastborn wasn't sure it was their bus but Eniiyi was convinced that it was, after all it was the only blue bus around. They sat down and stuck their bags beneath their seats. She was sat beside a voluptuous woman who immediately struck up a conversation with them, wondering why they were traveling alone. They told her the same lie they had told bastard. The bus driver glared at the voluptuous woman talking to the children, she should just have told him that her children were coming along, it'd have saved him the trouble of shouting about for passengers. Anyway, his bus was full now and that was all that mattered to him. He'd reach the destination state quickly and reload back to Kogi State.

Wonderfully written! The pace is so smooth✨ I absolutely loved the way the author described the scenes. The grammar is on point. I couldn't find a single typo either! Highly recommended!! Keep up the good work! ❤

This is one of the best Nigerian books I've come across after Chinua Achebe's and Chimamanda Adichie's. This work is a beautiful criss-cross between the contemporary world and the traditional world, and a book brimming with life, thanks to Eniiyi's fighting spirit. You don't want to miss this.

Drive Me Crazy

Drive Me Crazy

Xander Hayes The door slammed, echoing against the morning silence as I hopped from the driver's side of the Audi A8 L, Peter Monroe's preferred vehicle for transport. Three months into this job and I still can't get a hang of not being early. I guess it's just stuck with me after spending all those years in my line of work. Besides, I know firsthand not to keep bosses waiting.

Mr. CEO, You Are Only My Substitute Husband

Mr. CEO, You Are Only My Substitute Husband

As the window rolled down, she immediately recognized the driver—it was the same man from the bus. He looked to be in his early thirties, but his face was slightly wrinkled, and a scar near his right eye gave him a creepy appearance. Smiling at her, he offered, “Hey there, need a ride? I can drop you off wherever you’re headed.” Lysia instinctively took a step back and shook her head. “No, thanks. My house is just up ahead.” “It’s still a long way from here to Elmwood Crossroad.” His voice was calm, but there was something strange about the way he said it. He stepped out of the car, making it clear that he had overheard her entire conversation with the bus driver.

Curves and Basketball a BBW romance series

Curves and Basketball a BBW romance series

Director Waters asked frowning. “Because those tree stumps are likely more than a hundred years old, they are rooted so far underground that if I tried to push them out of the way, my truck would fold like a lawn chair and we would be dead, while the tree wouldn't even have a dent on it. I never seen a tree lose to a car, have you?” Uncle Bubba said, glancing at the Director like she was dumb. “Damn that was a dumb question even I knew that.” Thomas said looking at Director Waters who looked everywhere but at the people looking at her. “But these cars are about to get a makeover, because once I'm done with them, they will look like toy cars, the only way any of them bastards are getting outt

I love/hate everything you write. I love the books and I hate the roller-coasters they all send me on but I'm a gluten for punishment because I love reading your books more than anything I've read in years. Thank you for the down to earth relatable reads. Always taking me on imagination journeys.

I love the development of the characters… first time reading a BBW book and I must say I love it ! I think what I love most is the confidence that the curvy women display… it’s refreshing… that the main character Essie isn’t body shaming herself i just love it so far … I also love the names !!!!!

DEEPEST REGRET

DEEPEST REGRET

"Your wish is my command." The two of them arm in arm towards the highway, in Rose's clothes that almost swept the ground. But, luckily the dress she wears is simple, so Rosee doesn't have to feel heavy because of her costume. "So there is a bus." Rose saw the bus and waved her hand as a stop. Hopefully, no one thought that both of them were crazy or even eloped because in terms of age Rose and Juna were still very young. "We're going to the flea market." The driver nodded. With enthusiasm, Rose went up inside. Some passengers are just silent, mothers are carrying their children. A grandparent carry roster in his arms as well as a chicken coop bag that can be carried everywhere.

Mr. Crazy on the Bus

Mr. Crazy on the Bus

I chose to wear a miniskirt with sheer black stockings clinging to my legs, paired with a plunging V-neck shirt that put my snowy-white cleavage on full display. The outfit hugged my figure in an extremely sultry way. I knew Uncle Mike would be impressed enough to set me up with the best role at his club. … I hopped on the high-speed rail and headed for Merrihaven. Once I arrived, I decided to take the bus to save on cab fare. The bus was crammed with middle-aged men whose eyes lit up the moment I boarded. The blatant lust in their stares actually got me excited. The bus was so packed that some men took advantage of the crowd to grope me—some even sneaked a squeeze of my backside.

Palmer's Dance

Palmer's Dance

Christopher waited for all of them to get off before he did the same. “Hey, kid. Don’t pay them any mind. This place is a small, boring town, and they have had nothing new to talk about for a while. Being a new student will get you a lot of attention. Just ignore them,” the bus driver said and smiled at him before she let him out of the bus and drove off. He stood there for a bit when he heard a pickup truck park next to him. “I swear, Gunner. Next time you decide to drive fast, I will not take a ride with you,” he heard the girl yell. Did they seem to be friends, or maybe a couple? The way they were fighting, he would have to be inclined to the first.
