He was very amused when he saw me get mad. Until I was too tired and didn't have much strength left, he suddenly raised his hand high, signaling his subordinates to stop. It was strange. What exactly was he plotting?

It took two years for both of them to make it. My wolf Conan and I had been on edge for the last two years. At first, it didn’t feel as if Coral was in danger. However, those two years that Coral was not at the compound were rough. The feeling that I had as her guardian wolf changed, and I became much more concerned about her well being. Anders, my cousin and now Alpha of the Red Moon Pack, had felt the same way. Each red wolf has 10 guardian wolves, and since my father and Anders’ father, Callan, were both guardian wolves for Raina, we both believed that what we were feeling was due to being a guardian wolf for the last red wolf.

I put out my arm, pushing her behind me. “Drake….” she says warningly. “I won’t have our child harmed, Leana. Stay behind me.” She sighs, staying behind my body but leaning her head around me. “My name is Leana Holstin. Does that mean anything to you?” “No. Should it,” she asks, sniffing the air. “You’re no vampire.” “No, I’m a werewolf, a Guardian.” She looks from Leana to me and back again. “He called you a Guardian too. I don’t know what that means.”

he said. (Note: they're communicating through mind-link.) "Guardian?" I asked with a confused look. I was taken aback by the words. "Yes, I'm your guardian. A guardian designated by the Moon Goddess to protect you whenever you're in danger," the wolf explained as it read through my thoughts. The wolf came closer to me and stood beside me. For the first time, I felt warmth and safety around the wolf like I had known it for years. "Yes, I have always been with you but you don't know…" the wolf took a pause and turned to me as though it wanted to read through my expression.

This land is under my protection, and I will not yield to your aggression. The tension hung heavy in the air as the rival pack prepared to attack. Luna's eyes glowed with a radiant intensity, a testament to her unwavering determination. Just as the rival werewolves lunged forward, ready to strike, a thunderous roar echoed through the forest. Out of the shadows emerged a figure, larger and more imposing than any werewolf Luna had ever encountered. It was a powerful, ancient creature—a celestial being known as a Stellar Guardian. The rival pack froze in fear, their eyes widening with disbelief.

“C’mon. Sit. You need to breathe.” I hesitated… then joined her, legs crossed like I was about to meditate. God knew I needed it. She studied me for a moment, then asked, “Ever heard of the Moon Guardian?” I nodded. “Yeah. Some pure being sent to protect werewolves. What about her?”

For now, she’d have to be the werewolf’s assistant. The End!

The lead warrior, Ultima Wolf Ray Marcus, trains the warriors of the Vanara pack. Howl Wolf Thor Evans is the horn keeper of the Vanara pack and second-in-command of the wolves.

Dear Reader, Please forgive my absence for the past couple of days. I was taking a couple of days off, as I usually do, at the beginning of the month. I will be doing regular updates to this story, however. I hope to hear from my readers and let me know what you think. I know this is different from my werewolf stories, but I hope it is something you will all enjoy. Let me know if you want to see more stories like this. I plan to return to writing my werewolf romance soon.
