Guest 666 X Noob Forsaken Novels & Stories

I turned to walk away, thinking this farce was finally over. But just as the guards were about to drag them out of the city gates, I heard Seraphina's shrill voice. "Wait!" Seraphina suddenly broke free from the guards, laughing wildly. "If I can't have it, then I'll destroy everything!" She raised her hands, chanting an ancient, evil incantation. Dark mist emanated from her body, and the air filled with the stench of death. "Shadow power?" My face changed. "How does she know this forbidden magic?!"

“Come on, this is Evander we’re talking about. The guy’s a business genius—he’s not gonna back the losing side. Chloe stares at him like a lovesick puppy, but he’s got his eyes on ‘nobody’ Esther? Yeah, she’s not a nobody. He must know she’s the real deal.” In just a few short minutes, various media platforms sent the news skyrocketing as if on a rocket to the clouds. And just like that, the truth was out. #ForsakenDaughterTurnsOutToBeHeiressOfWorld Mogul Victor Davenier #FakeHeiressRealBossLady ***

“I didn’t mean to…” “It’s fine,” Hayden interrupted, stepping back with a polite but distant nod. “Just be careful.” I crouched, trying to pick up the broken pieces. “Don’t worry about it,” Hayden said without looking at me again. Around us, whispers had begun. “Is this truly the daughter of Alpha Thorn? She seems… not up to the mark,” one of the guests said disapprovingly. “I’m sorry,” I repeated under my breath, wishing I could disappear. “At least I didn’t bring down the chandelier,” I added that in my head.

“…We both did.” Lucien managed a broken smile, its corners trembling. “Then it isn’t over.” The wind changed. The air grew colder, thinner — and from the cracks around them, shadows began to rise. They were tall, faceless, their edges flickering like flame, and where their feet touched the ground, light recoiled. Travian’s whisper coiled through Soren’s spine. The Forgotten Ones… the gods we replaced. Lucien’s expression hardened. He lifted his hand, golden energy sparking at his fingertips. “They followed us through.”

He opened it quickly, flipping through page after page until his fingers froze. "There," he said, holding it out. Veyra read aloud. "The Soul Gates. Forbidden magic. Built with blood, fueled by devotion. They do not open to this world. They open to the Beyond. And from them will step the Forgotten Ones, gods made of hunger and bone, cast away before time began." Jon swallowed hard. "It goes on. The strongest of them—Asvaris. The Unmade King. Said to have once ruled both life and death. Banished by the Moon Goddess herself."

It was in that exact moment of exhaustion that my Lycan finally roared to life, clawing her way to the surface. “They aren't bringing in reinforcements, Seraphina." Her voice echoed through our shared consciousness, erratic and sharp as a razor. “Look closer at their bodies. They aren’t really dead.” A cold shudder went down my spine as I ducked beneath the swinging blade of a brainwashed rebel. I drove my palm into his chest, unleashing a concussive blast of S-rank energy that sent him flying into the dirt. I forced myself to look. To really look at the fallen bodies scattered across the blood-soaked grasses.

He just didn’t know it yet. “What’s your name?” I asked. He didn’t answer. I leaned back in the chair. “Alright. I’ll go first. My name’s Rafael, people call me Spider. And I don’t like people who waste my time.” He was still silent. I turned slightly, gave Ghost a simple nod, and he drove his fist into the guy’s gut hardly. He gasped and wheezed for air, eyes bulging as he hunched over as far as the ropes would let him.

VELARA'S POV The next morning dawned with a kind of eerie silence lingering in the air. Word had spread that another one of the forsaken had been sighted just the night before. Fear had begun to worm its way through the guests at the hotel, prompting a few of them to gather their things and leave while they still could. They didn’t want to take the risk. The hotel was too close to the city’s boundary, too tempting a target for anyone—or anything—looking for a way in.

I held his eyes for a moment and shrugged again. “Am I supposed to panic? Knock yourself out. Not like you don’t know the story already, right? So? The coordinates?” He chuckled under his breath and made me turn to the table and pointed at the plot land map. “The iron thing checks. Now we gotta go check the other five.” His words felt like a slap in the back of my head. “Wait! Six coordinates, six stars, six ghosts. Too much of a—” “Holy shit! Three sixes like in 666? What the fuck’s going on here? Is it some kind of portal to hell?”

Fear. But today is different. Today, I’m dressed in silk instead of a white hospital gown. Today, my name is on a guest list I never thought I’d see again. The Luna Festival. My final obligation before I disappear for good. They say the goddess watches us on this night. I hope she sees me. I hope she knows… I tried. The Luna Festival is an annual celebration. A different pack hosts it each year, and tradition says no wolf can miss it more than seven times.
