Hades POV Hades knows what is currently happening, he has demons everywhere to inform him. He wants to see how the war goes and if the opportunity arises, he will take Lennox for himself. He will send one of his warriors to fetch the child, everyone will be to busy to notice him. He will watch the war through his demons and decide if and when he has the chance to take what he desires most. Rogue King POV

“So, WARP is out of the option, is that it? We are inside the enemy territory. WARP can leave a record.” “Yes, and they can use that record to predict our next movement.” Hades rubbed her back mindlessly. “I understand,” Dionysus murmured low. Hades looked around, he flicked his fingers toward the survivor that had seen their faces. With a little bit of effort, he used his darkness to twist all the survivors’ necks and killed them in one go. Regardless of their status, whoever saw their faces would immediately meet the creator. No compromise. Looking right below him, Hades flashed a sinister smirk. “Young man, I hope you survive to tell the tale. I’ll be waiting for the great news.”

I stand up and she wraps me up in a hug. “I can’t stay long, sweetie. My time here is over. I just wanted to put up protective barriers for you. Zeus allowed it since you are my descendant. He also says to tell you that Hades will not be a problem. He has been imprisoned. Since he came after you, a mortal, after being warned all of the gods/goddess’s have decided that he broke a sacred promise that we made. He is imprisoned until such time as he can be repentant.” I sighed. Thank goodness one nightmare is gone. The next, hunters. It’s time to remove the evil ones from the world. But, first, I need to recover. As if she could hear my thoughts, she smiles at me proudly.

" Martha clears her throat as she enters my office, stirring me from my thoughts. "Please, sit down." I smile down at Martha, laying on my best playboy charm. "Thank you, Mr. Velimir." "Please call me Hades; Mr. Velimir sounds so formal." Martha's cheeks blush red as she fans herself with the manila folder she's brought in. "May I?" I ask as I leave my drink on the windowsill and walk toward my desk, standing directly behind Martha, my hand just barely grazing hers as I reach for the folder.

"Our people chase eternal life. We spend our money on training and protecting the Underworld. This world has limited resources. We don't care about fighting other gods for scraps. We have bigger goals." His words cleared everything up. No wonder every Hades god I met looked so unbothered. They were secretly training to get stronger. It all made sense. I immediately dragged him out the door. "Since we're rich, let's go shopping!" We ran into Evadne while shopping. She was holding Deimos's arm, acting super sweet. They were picking out jewelry. Her belly was grotesquely swollen, straining against the fabric of her dress. She got pregnant again. Deimos obviously forgave her past cheating.

The meek, quiet woman who had withered in the Temple of Light was gone forever. "You are beautiful, Lyra," Hades said, appearing behind me. His eyes were full of awe. He took my hand and pressed a kiss to my fingertips. "Today, all the realms will witness you become my one and only, to share my throne and my eternity." When Hades and I walked side-by-side into the grand hall, the gods of Olympus were already assembled. Their faces were a mixture of astonishment and a complex, veiled discomfort. After all, just a few months ago, I had been Apollo's betrothed.

Helena climbed to a boulder to get a better look at the ground to see Hades. “Zac, he is over there!” Pointing to where the containment box is. Persephone was about to slice his hands with the blade when Hades wrestled the blade from her. They struggled for a moment and then Hades went still and fell on the ground. Golden blood oozing from his mouth and from his side. “No! Hades!” Zac screamed and dived into the waiting creatures of darkness, brandishing hos sword in quick movements to clear a path to his dying uncle.Persephone stood there , the blade still in her hand and she was laughing uncotrollably.

Chapter Twenty-Six Archer I lean back in the uncomfortable airport seat, watching our bags while Quinn goes to the bathroom. We’re headed back to reality, and something seems different between us. As much as I want to deny it, I know what it is. After taking care of that drunk girl last night, Quinn told me I need to take the fellowship. She said she can see that trauma and life-or-death situations are what I’m made for, and I can’t disagree.

I nibbled on my lips, feeling guilty for freaking him out like that. All of us only saw the second war, where Gabriel used my sister as his weapon, destroyed the only way to stop her, and murdered my parents. Jayden slid his arm around Nate’s shoulder, which helped him relax a bit. “Anyway, all in favor of Haley’s plan, raise your hand,” Clay said. All of them raised their hands except Scott, they turned their heads in his direction. I glared at him, and he shrugged his shoulder. “Scott,” I said in a bitter tone, and he hummed in response.

I am closing Adan/Lucy and Lucius/Patrea’s story, but we will see them as side characters for Blade and Althea’s book. Also, after Blade and Althea’s book, I will make epilogues on their lives decades or perhaps, even centuries from now. For those asking for Hades, an idea has been brewing in my mind, it might NOT be a full book or short novel, but it will be a few chapters and still worth the read. So watch out for it as well.
