My Half Brother, My Mate

My Half Brother, My Mate

One should be in her late thirties, and the other was a little girl who should be in her early teens, probably around the age of twelve. ''Mate!'' My wolf howled loudly in my head, and just when I was about to move forward, my father placed his hand on the shoulder of the little girl and said, ''This is Mia, your half sister.'' Those words from my father seized my steps. ''Half sister?'' I asked with shocked eyes while staring at the girl before me. “Yes, son.'' Dad inhaled deeply and took a few steps toward me with guilt and worry on his face. ''Son, I have something to say to you…'' He tried speaking, but I cut him off.

I mean half of the book. "Yeah, they said they were on their way," he responded and I nodded. "What now?" Winter took in a deep breath before relaxing on the sofa. "I don't know, but going through this, I don't think flora will be able to use the other half till the full potential without this half." I sighed scrolling through the pages of the book. "What do you mean, and how sure are you?" Jasper chipped in. "Well, this one is technically the continuation of a particular spell, I don't know why but u don't think they can make the sacrifice without this other half."

Half the Blessing, Half the Heart

"Mr. Powell, the blood tracks lead outside and all the way to the main road. If Mrs. Powell tried to get to the hospital by herself, that means that she's most probably stuck on Goldway Street." After a slight moment of hesitation, Reggie continued and said, "A-According to my calculations… If Mrs. Powell doesn't undergo a D&C procedure within half an hour, I'm afraid that she might lose her life…"

THE HALF BLOOD'S CURSE

THE HALF BLOOD'S CURSE

"You are a half-blood, Elif. Torn between two worlds. Too human for the wolves. Too wolf for the humans. You've spent your entire life feeling like an error." My throat tightened. "How do you know that?" "Because I once walked in your shoes. I am also a half-blood." He sat on a fallen log, gesturing for me to join him. "I lead because I am a half-blood, not in spite of it." He scooped up a handful of soil, letting it sift through his fingers. "The purebloods deem us inferior. Broken. But they are mistaken. We are not broken, Elif. We are bridges."

Meet Me Halfway

Meet Me Halfway

Usually he would have cut it in half, but wanted her to have the whole and not the half. “ the whole and not the half, my sweet girl.” he said, and raised the apple to her mouth. She held his gaze for a moment and reached for the apple. “ the whole and not the half.” he repeated, “ that’s what i want with Aine. that’s all i want with Aine.” he heaved out a breath and thought for a moment about his encounter with Rhoda that afternoon. What had she said, About not making any promises?

Zora offered Sylvain an appreciative smile, "I then told you that the second half was sent somewhere and I wasn't sure where, that magic would protect it until it needed to be found. That was an untruth. The second half of the book had chosen me as its keeper. I could not hand the book over to you until the time was right. Have you gone through the first half?" "It spoke of the prophecy and the oracle who had seen this fate. It went into detail about how there would be a change experienced amongst our kind. How everyone would be treated as equals. How the golden-winged fae would bring peace and would offer us protection," I recalled. Whenever I had a few moments to myself I would open up the

To the author, can you please just inform us of the status of this book. I understand that you have a life and things which are none of our business but as fans/ customers I still believe we should at least warrant an explanation concerning if this book will go unfinished. Please and thank you.

“We will divide the book into two parts and I'll go through half while you go through the other half. She replied. “That's a sound suggestion.” I replied but how would we divide it at all?” I asked. “Just watch.” She said as she dropped the book in between us and flipped it until she had reached the end then she divided the number of pages without tearing the book and handed half of it to me. “ That is your portion and this is mine.” She said as she began flipping through them. “You said his name is Bolton right?” She asked. “Yes,” I replied. “That's his name.”

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA PRINCE

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA PRINCE

Perhaps the words are readable only to me, unlike the other red book. This realization makes the whole thing even more ominous than before. "I guess it's only me who can read this one." "How convenient," she quips sarcastically again. I laugh at her joke and the eye roll she adds at the end, before looking down and feeling the pages. A rush of power pulses through my hands, and I take a deep breath. "I've realized the book is divided into two halves, in a way," I begin explaining to her. "The first part seems like a journal of some sort, and the second part holds things that look like incantations and rituals."

This book is chefs kiss. This is one of the few books we’re the main female character isn’t a push over. She doesn’t always make the best decisions put she makes the tough one. The whole story line flows well and each character has a unique story behind them. I cannot wait when the book is completed

MAY

MAY

Maryam, still on her school uniform, tugged on May's sweater as they passed a bookstore. "What is it now?" May asked. "Buy me that book." Maryam pointed at the yellow book sitting on the shelf just outside the bookstore. "Why?" May queried. "Isn't that Half of a Yellow Sun written by Chimamanda Adichie?" Iby asked. "I want it," Maryam whined. "Mtcheww. Leave me oh. I’m here to only buy oranges." May said, walking towards where the oranges were sold. Maryam began crying. Iby turned to her. "Are you seriously crying because you want your mom to buy you a book?"

This book was beautifully written and I enjoyed it so very much. It made me feel so many things and I was on the edge of my seat for most of the while because I really wanted the best for May. I felt so much anger towards Edric, uncertainty towards Tega, and love for Edric. definitely insightful

Nice book. I love how it treats domestic issues prevalent in a lot of Nigerian homes. I also love how the book doesn't glamorize abuse like other pics I've read in this genre. Seeing as the author is a girl from Bayelsa, it gives me joy that she adds elements of her background in the story.
