“Nice to meet you, Raine,” I said with a forced smile. As soon as she turned her back, I muttered under my breath, “Bitch.” I wasn’t lying—she was practically spilling out of that dress. Seriously? That’s Aiden’s type now? I turned to Arden and whispered, “Babe, I need to use the restroom.” He nodded, and I made my way across the hallway. Unfortunately, the restroom was just past the entertainment room—where Aiden and Raine were glued to each other. Ugh, just my luck. I turned to leave, but he blocked me and pushed me back inside. “What now?” I snapped, slapping his chest. “Can’t you just leave me alone?” My voice trembled, barely above a whisper. Someone could hear us. “Move! I said I’m leaving!” But Aiden didn’t budge. Instead, he grabbed my wrists and spun me around. My back hit the door with a soft thud, and suddenly, his body was pressed against mine. “Aiden, stop it! What are you doing?” I hissed, but he didn’t answer. He just smirked, lowered his head, and crushed his lips against mine. Damn it… not again.

His dark eyes raked her body from head to toe as if he was sizing her up and a terrifying chill ran down her spine when the corner of his lips tilted up in an ominous smirk. The beast of a man leaned closer as his nose trailed her neck, he inhaled her scent deeply and then hummed in ecstasy. "Your scent drives me wild, Jewel." He rasped. His fingers twirled with her strand as she tried to control the wild trembling of her body. "I want to claim you so f*cking badly. Everything of yours drives me insane, my wife.”He grunted in a low rasp. His dark stormy eyes glided over her beautiful features before peering adoringly at her quivering brims. The rough pad of his thumb felt the softness of her lips. "I want to drill it inside your head, that…” He grasped a fist full of her hair and yanked her head back making her gasp as her fear-filled eyes clashed with his sinister hues. "You're mine, Evelyn. The caption reads, "Thank you for giving me a home so that I don't feel lonely in my final days." In a corner of the photo, Romano can be seen crouching on the floor while piecing a baby cot together. His side profile shows how focused he is on the task. As I wipe my tears from the corners of my eyes, I silently caress my flat belly, which has yet to show any changes. I'll take you far, far away from here, my dear baby.
