I wanted to speak when I suddenly saw the dragon standing a few feet away from me and looking at me with that dark look that frightened the hell out of me. Did she bring me out to feed me to this dragon? As if on cue, she walked towards the dragon and explained to me, "This is my pet, Pyros. He was the one that sent warning signals of an intruder in my office. Don't worry. He's just a baby. He won't hurt you." My jaws almost dropped. A dragon as huge and tall as this is just a baby? Then what would he look like when he becomes fully grown. I suddenly thought of something and called out, "Elda... Are you Elda?"

His snout was huge, almost half the size of her tiny body, but he was so gentle when he tried to nudge her awake. He knew she was gone, but there was a part of him hoping that he was wrong. I stepped forward with my hands up, and when my foot snapped a twig he startled, shooting a fireball at me. I jumped out of the way and shouted out, “Draco,

Dawn blew a raspberry at that. “Hardly. It has an itty bitty baby dragon named Norbert but that’s it”, she said “nothing like the badass Hungarian Horntail” Dawn rolled over onto her stomach “hey, you do think dragons are real? His lips quivered in fear as he stared at the dragon's eyes, which were like flames and body, so ancient and dark. “What do you want?” Minerva asked absentmindedly as the dragon stared into her soul. It nudged her head, its snout as if he could read her mind. Then it looked away from her. Behind her, Vincent stood there, a protective hawk. He didn't like it that there was another watching out for Minerva. “I don't like this dragon,” Vincent murmured. Minerva would have laughed if they were not in a situation like this. The dragon tilted its head as if he heard what Vincent had said. Then it moved his attention back to Minerva.

I feel the substance lift from within me and come out through my mouth. I feel him first,his rage twinning with mine,as flames lick at my skin like a lover. “Hello little one.” My dragon's voice rings in my ear.

Felicia shock by its sudden response pets it and the dragon made beautiful squaring sounds from its mouth.

Lizzy mused. “They looked at me as if I was a bug to squash,” Chloe said bitterly. “Perhaps, if they knew your origin, they’d think differently,” Lizzy offered. “Now, tell me about the dragon part. How marvelous to be able to transform into such a majestic beast. How very lucky. Did you know that there is a planet in the Oobla galaxy that has some of the most advanced scientific minds in the universe and these minds are housed within the bodies of dragons? Your Tristan is a blessed soul.”
