Crescent blood. A debt. Kaelira. The syllables collided in my mind, and I realized my wolf twitched, restless. But not toward me. Not instinctively toward the bond that should have tied her to me. It was… something else. Laura stepped in as Lucian spoke, her presence calm but commanding. Her eyes flicked to me, calculating. “We have to manage this,” she said, voice low, sharp enough to slice through the tension.

The shadow’s voice echoed in her mind. Blood spurted out as Nozomi yanked her hand out. Before Nozomi’s blood could spill further, the wound started to close, like time was being reversed. “Wait. No. No. Wait, wait, wait! No! UNFAIR!” The shadow started to throw a tantrum while Nozomi’s gaze was naturally drawn to Hikaru. “No. Please, no.” There was already blood trickling down Hikaru's head and out of his mouth. Now, more blood mysteriously soaked his shirt from the centre of his torso.

There were no trails or footsteps for me to follow so I resorted to calling her name but she didn't answer. I kept searching till I saw something that made my heart skip. There were blood trails on the ground,but the rain was washing it out slowly. I quickened my steps and followed the trails till I was almost at the edge of the forest,that was when I saw her,in a pool of her own blood. She looked lifeless and when I checked her pulse,she wasn't even breathing. Still shaking out of fear, I picked her up and raced back to the village. ARIANA'S POV

However as she was so focused on Rogue she missed one important detail, throughout the ordeal itself Ashlee was watching from the sidelines. “ it seems Hiraizumi is going to be interesting this coming months” Ashlee chuckled blending in with the shadows his eyes being the ones glowing from within, their bluish silvery colour scaring away the nocturnal wild life. He stayed for a few seconds and then vanished heading back to report on what he had observed.

He picked it up and pointed it at her, and then fired a shot. “HIBARA!” Lily, Shiloah, and Amy approached us and they were telling me that everything will be okay. A single tear fell from my eyes as I stared at Hibara’s terrified expression. It’s my first time to see her beautiful emerald eyes this close, and it was full of fear. I smiled sadly, closed my eyes, and my body felt heavy lying on top of her. Black’s voice was the last thing I heard before everything faded away. “I see… Playing 'knight in shining armor' ay? Sashi wants to cry everyday everytime she's seeing her best friend's poor body lying in the bed. She's so busy at school lately so that she can't visit Clark more often. "But at least I'm here. She finishes stitching a hem quickly, then gently pats Sky’s shoulder and sends her off to play with her wooden blocks in the corner.
