The Tattooed Luna

The Tattooed Luna

Then the burn started. It wasn't like the others. The first eight had come slow … a warmth that built over hours, like a fever finding its peak. This one hit fast and mean, right below her left collarbone, and she had to grip the edge of the folding counter and breathe through her teeth until the room stopped tilting. "Hey. You okay?" The old man in the corner… Mr. Hatch, who came every Tuesday with three garbage bags of laundry and always fell asleep in the plastic chair had one eye open.

Wind Chill

you have to be here . Her arm was nearly worn out when the blade finally cracked through and split the frozen ground. A blast of cold air that shamed every gust before blew her off her feet. Emma scrambled back while freezing vapor rose in a plume. A rumble came below as the crack she’d made in the earth widened. She pushed herself into a crouch, the hatchet raised and ready. This is for Mom . . . Dad . . . Don’t think. Don’t give it time to react. Just hit the first thing you see and don’t stop until it’s in pieces.

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

"I'd forgotten what that felt like." "Get used to it." I squeezed her hand. "We're going to do a lot more of it." The phone stayed silent. And somewhere in the city, Hana raced toward Mireille's last known location. And somewhere else, Aris Thorne waited for news of his attack. And somewhere in between, the game entered its final phase. --- End of Chapter 217

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Heather snorted and said, “However, have you thought it through? I’ll kick you out of the Riggs family, and you’ll lose your arms while your beloved man is broke. How will you survive later without your bread and butter?” “You know nothing about love. You’ll never understand!” Hannah was indifferent. Heather looked at Chump, and a glinting knife dropped onto the floor with a clang. “You agreed so readily. You think you can reattach your arms after I cut them off?” Lily frowned as she looked at the knife, which she knew was sharpened, judging by its blade. She turned her gaze to Heather and saw her severe, unblinking expression. “I’ll do it myself!” Hannah exclaimed and bent over to pick up t

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

Harvey York's Rise to Power

Harvey York's Rise to Power

Their machetes swung at the same time, hoping to keep Harvey’s slaps away. Slap! Slap! Loud slaps could be heard. Two and Three were sent flying in an instant; their bodies kept twitching as they coughed out blood in midair. Harvey then stomped on a rock. Broken pieces of the rock flew straight toward Seven, who was about to get the jump on Dean. Seven was just about to cut off Dean’s arm when he felt something terrifying approaching him. He instinctively swung his machete to deflect the shards. He stumbled back after dealing with the attack, almost crashing into the crumbling gazebo.

and familiar. With no hesitation, I got up from the bed. I took the long hook beside the vanity table next to the bedside table. I walked over the spot where the attic door was and pulled it down. I, then, took the wooden ladder next to the vanity table and placed it under the attic door. When I climbed up, I stopped right under the scuttle hole. I used to get scared going up alone. I'm scared of the darkness of this specific place, afraid that I might see something I don't wanna see. Something terrifying. Something that is world crashing.

THE HUNT

THE HUNT

There, I barely saw the army, trained by the old hag! I look away and flow so fast to restraint myself to stop and landed in the mountain. I said, reminded myself, “That's why makes sure to be strong and must powerful to comeback home, Encrinch!” Just before the sun's rise, we reach the gloomy forest. Misty seems to be filled with reminisce and couldn't stop saying, “I wonder if my fate is right in that place. I'm so excited!” I let her be, and cautiously look the gloomy forest. I ask as I felt like eyes is everywhere, “Is this place really this eerie?”

One Night Stand With My Boyfriend’s Twin

One Night Stand With My Boyfriend’s Twin

The orchard never forgets." Cassius hawked and spat into the trench, roots curling to taste the offering. "We bury them tonight. At the chapel gate, Kieran waited. His cloak was stiff with brine and soot, the old scars on his forearms bright against the frost when he pushed the hood back. He looked like something carved out of the hush itself , a king made of broken roots and hunger. Selena's boots slipped on the pitch-crusted steps as she climbed to meet him. He caught her wrist, thumb brushing the new slice that split her knuckles open from dragging the brine hoops through the orchard line. "You should've let Elric do it," he said. She raised an eyebrow. "He'd have bled out before the oil
