Haunting Adeline Playlist Novels & Stories

“Thanks for liking it. And about the snacks, there are a few you can eat, don’t worry.” That actually made me laugh, a real laugh. For a second I felt… normal. Like someone my age. Like a girl hanging out with another girl. Not a broken person trying to survive her own guilt. We got into the tent together, the fabric brushing softly behind us as we settled in. Adeline grabbed the iPad, her fingers tapping lightly across the screen. “What are we watching?” I asked. “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” she said casually, still focused on choosing the episode.

"That's what Grey meant. Being captured was part of his plan because Sienna could get him out. She had everything she needed to breach your most secure facility." My phone buzzed. It was an email notification that I opened it with shaking hands. It contained a single video file with no subject line. "Kayden," I said quietly. He moved beside me as I hit play. Sienna's face filled the screen. She sat in what looked like an abandoned warehouse, completely calm. "Hello, Adeline," she said. "Surprised? I bet you are. Five years is a long time to be dead." I couldn't breathe.

When Jax had seen it earlier, he’d raised an eyebrow but hadn't questioned it. Men never questioned things that benefited them. Two pairs of dark eyes swiveled toward me. I hit play on my vinyl recorder, then slow and sultry R&B filled the air "Enough chit-chat about the crazy wife." With a flick of a switch, the lights shifted to a deep, pulsing red, casting everything in a sinful glow. “Time to party.” Delilah…" Jax started, already transfixed, his voice was already hungry. "Shh." I reached behind my neck, unzipping my dress slowly. "Just watch."

“You know Alphas are trash. They are bad people.” Adeline tried to open her eyes. She blinked a few times before looking straight at Hazel. “Don’t hesitate to call me, okay?” she raised her fist and said. “If that Alpha did anything bad to you, I’m going to punch him in the face.” Hazel just nodded and did not object at all. “You should stop. You are already drunk.” Hazel insisted. “I’m not!” Adeline exclaimed. “I know what I’m doing!” She took another glass from the table and took it straight in one gulp.

“ Bye mama.” Adeline walked out of the mansion, and once she was gone, Magdalene took out her phone and dialled a line. “ Follow Adeline, and make sure you don't lose her.” ….. Adeline drove out in an Audi to a club. To her, being stucked with her mom was boring and she needed to breath in fresh air. While driving, she noticed a black car behind her, causing a smirk to grace her lips. “ Mama’s handwork, huh?” She clicked her tongue and added more speed.

I smiled and declared, "Let the game of hide and seek begin." Through the cameras, we watched as Shadow frantically searched the dorm, muttering to herself, "Where? Where is she?" While Shadow was tearing the place apart looking for me, Celeste and I were already out of the school, having been picked up by Helena and taken to her luxurious mansion. The three of us sprawled out on a sofa larger than most beds, sipping champagne and enjoying delicious desserts made by a personal chef. Back at the dorm, Shadow was seething with rage, while in Helena's mansion, Howard was in tears, groveling while begging for forgiveness. But Helena just spat coldly, "It's over between us. Stop bothering me and

Bash was really happy and apparently, so was Adrian. After practice ended that day, Adrian told me to keep the headphones and hold on to his iPod for the meantime to learn the songs better. I did and while I was doing so, I also happened to scan the rest of his vast playlist. He had songs by Mayday Parade, Panic! at the Disco, The All-American Rejects, All Time Low, Ben Folds Five, just to name a few. I was also pleasantly surprised to find songs by Elvis Costello and Johnny Cash there and realized how deep and emotional he really was.

“Oh, you fool. You got it all wrong. Did you really think that I had changed my mind just because I was sleeping with you?” “You were falling for me!” She insisted. “I was playing with you. We were having problems, and you were the distraction that I needed, but I will always come back to her.” Adeline picked a sharp piece of the glass on the floor and puts it near her neck. “Reject her and choose me, or I will—” “Kill yourself? Do it, I dare you.” “If I die, then it will weaken your wolf too.” “My wolf is mated to Eero's wolf. If it's not clear to you, then I'll say it out loud. Your death won't mean anything to me, so go ahead. Kill yourself.” Adeline's hand trembles, and then the glass fe

Annabella called repeatedly as she woke up that night,Its the second day they are using in their vacation house and it has been a lot of fun.

The curtains waved gently behind her. Rain and Jace waited for a few minutes. They could smell the tea leaves brewing and some warm cakes from baking. "I don't like it here! We're just wasting time. We'd better hurry to your father's apartment!" Jace got up from the knitted sofa. "But, this is rude! At least I want to sip the tea!" Rain was annoyed because she was very thirsty and hungry. Adaline stirred the tea in a white cup coated with gold paint. Her smile grew as her left hand spun a grain of powder that no one knew what it was. Her lips kept humming as if she was chanting a spell.
