“I just… I didn’t get to tell her. Not everything.” Kade exhaled slowly, the sound thick with his own ghosts. “Then tell me.” She turned then, slow and deliberate, eyes glossy but not weak. “You can’t fix it.” “I’m not here to fix it,” he said. “I’m here to hold what’s left.” That broke something. Not loud. Not dramatic. Just the soft crumbling of walls she’d spent too long keeping up. Her fingers twitched toward him. He caught them. Held them.

His fingers wrapped around hers and held. She held back.

She held him to her. "Don't..." Surprisingly, she doesn't want him away from her. Not now, She doesn't want to face these faceless demons alone. "Please..." Her tone was hoarse. He was going to go right ahead with his decision, but what stopped him the most was the way she held him. Her hand held his hip tight like a lifeline. In the end, he lowered himself over her completely and simply held her. "I'm right here for you. I'm right here with you." He has no idea what is wrong with her, but he was determined to wait her out. Even the wolf has gone quiet inside him because that part of him feels her ache and terror.

He doesn't just hold them, he intertwines them. I shoot my vision to our intertwined hand then to his perfectly sculpted face. His eyes hold mine.

He is obviously asking all sorts of questions to her. Don’t tell me he is asking the same question that he is asking me to her. The pace of my feet increases their speed and rush to stand in front of her suddenly. “Caden!” she almost drops the bag she is holding in her hands on the floor with her eyes widely opened and her mouth forming an ‘O’ shape. “You OK!” that guy holds her arms. Hello! I guess he is just some stranger and she doesn’t know him? How come he holds her arm like that?

He made no move still causing her to move an inch closer before reaching out a hand to shake at his chest that seem to be rising and falling. He must have fallen asleep. She was forced to stop midway when both his hands suddenly reached out and grab hold of hers before pulling her into his chest and trapping her in between. "What?...what are you doing. Let go of me right now" she seemed stunned and startled at the same time as she continued to struggle against him but failed miserably as his grip was too tight plus she was definitely no match. "Just hold still Aria and I will let you move before you know it" he pleaded suddenly staring at her.

Another hand crossed her waist, holding it up and tight in his rough hands as he trusted. They both were on edge. The size of his hammer was growing inside her, cutting her breath out. He held her with hold hands, making her sit on him while ramming in her without mercy to reach the new heights of ecstasy. “Master…..” She lost her strength as he crushed her over his chest. She was begging to steal a molecule of air under his powerful gaze. He held her hair and made her look at him. Her dandling body was hanging over his support.
