Hellbent Book Novels & Stories

The ancient tome lay open before me, its pages a labyrinth of inscrutable symbols and faded script that murmured of a time long forgotten. The musty scent of the library mingled with the potent tang of old leather, wrapping around my senses as I bent closer to study the enigmatic text. Curiosity clawed at my mind, sharpening my focus until nothing existed beyond the cryptic messages waiting to be unraveled. ... (Time Travel: revelation of the mystery book) EDEN BENTLEY'S POV

This book, Miss Brogan, is not the Gospel of Lucifer. Blake smiled and held up the book in front of me, following the direction of my gaze and leaning closer until I could feel his breath on my face. 'It is the Gospel of Helel.' His Gospel. Ethan had a fucking Gospel written about him. The Gospel of Helel. I couldn't process it. How was I meant to process something like this?

Betty filled my coffee cup. I wiped a crusty cluster of sediment from the corner of my eyes and mumbled, "Thank you." She gave me a sad smile and shuffled back into the stacks. I groaned, sipping coffee the consistency of motor oil. Time to get back to work. I sure as hell wasn't going to leave it alone. Not when I was so close to the answers I wanted. Fire brewed in my belly. I picked up the book in front of me. A demonology book. The history of incubi.

And of course, endless spell books. He's even included mysteries and psychological thrillers by my favorite authors, a kind afterthought. But there’s more: living grimoires, erotica by demons that may well be written by Cenobites, and people’s wickedest sins recorded like the Screwtape Letters littering the place galore. There are the life records and deeds of every Damned in Hell, recorded in lurid detail by Penemue, the fallen angel of writing. He notices me look longingly at the books. “Shall we read?” he asks. “We can devour books on a blanket, out under the stars.”

The table let out a clang, his body pressing against the hard metal as his eyes stare at the blood dripping organ clenched around the supposedly dead person's fingers. He took out his heart. Christian's heart. He wanted to scream, let out the fear and remove the stormy cloud gathering in his chest. But his oversized ego would not allow that, watching as his predator advances slowly, taking all his time like he had the world in his hand. All he had witnessed was enough to come to a conclusion. He had just voluntarily entered the other side of hell.

There was definitely something sensual about the way his lean fingers encircled the Chalk holder before finally picking one. One hand was perfectly held behind his back as he wrote on the board. When he turned around, he picked up a textbook and leaned on the table, adding beauty to the damn furniture. "Now," he spoke again in his crisp British accent, looking up from his textbook to stare directly at me. Still with the book in his hand, he walked over to my desk, "What's your name?" I gulped, his voice unnerving me. When he stood directly in front of me, I almost turned to butter.

“I can see your point. Even if they believed in you. They’d just take the cases away from us because they would be noteworthy.” “Ah… Those types. We have our own issues. The Hell Hounds are an all-female enforcer team. It doesn’t sit well with some old guard. Our name comes from the idea of that. What would scare a hellhound straight? His mother. So, we took on that name.” Ian had to chuckle at that. “It’s a concept. So, you have issues with sexism?”

Hello readers, I am sorry to say but, this book 'Hellbent~Denied Love have officially come to an end. I know it ended like cliffhanger. Yes, it did. But, there is a new book squealed to this. It is DANCING IN FLAMES!

They were pretty, but they were destined for the bin. "I see you've come to grovel," she gloated. "Good luck with that." "Pardon me?" he asked. Belle rolled her eyes. Was he stupid or what? "I've been reading about witchcraft," she said, holding up the book in her good hand. "I know the spell has been deflected back onto you times three." "Oh?" Damien asked. "It says that?" Belle shook her head, wondering why he was playing dumb. "You know it does. You're the expert in this stuff. How does it feel, to be on the receiving end?"

I have now come to the end of book one of my Cursed by the gods series. It has been a long journey I'm not gonna lie. I lost commitment along the way of writing this book, lost inspiration, even changed the plan I initially had for it. I am really glad that I got to finish it and if you stayed till the end I just want to say thank you for even choosing this book in the first place. I will start with the second book as soon as possible and do my best to make that one better. I hope I have been able to tell you a good story dear readers and once again I thank you for reading Cursed by the gods. Thank you.
