Hellhounds Mythology Novels & Stories

It was the howl of a hellhound on the trail of its prey. “That son of a bitch.” Hel stood up and rotated her shoulders. “Fine, I’m in the mood to kill something.” She glanced down at Serenity. ‘Jor you better get your ass back here. She is fading and I just heard a hellhound. I’m sure it’s headed this way.’ She commentedmentally and her senses flared. They were coming toward the front of the house, she felt demons and just the one hellhound. Farther out she felt a couple vampires and then Surt himself. Well shit, she relayed that information as well.

he said flipping the top of the box off completely. Three balls of fur jumped out and rushed to us. Kaden squealed instinctively and backed off, dragging me behind him. “Stop,” he ordered instinctively. The hounds stopped and sat at his feet, tails wagging and their red glowing eyes on him expectantly. “I know of this underworld god who has a three headed dog as a guardian, but those are pretty hard to come by, so I summoned you three hellhounds. You will find them incredibly loyal and protective.”

And Zane had no idea who he was really up against. Later, Zane was in his study, pouring over ancient texts on hellhounds, trying to piece together any information that might help him track them. The hellhounds were creatures of the underworld, summoned only by a powerful ritual, one that required blood—specifically, the blood of the intended target. Someone close to Cana had set this in motion, someone who had betrayed them

Rhysher thinks. Okay... now, two of them are to look for, then I can check who among them was the rebirth of Cybele. Rhysher thought to himself. He couldn't help but recall that one ancient prophesy uttered before he was cast out from Valhalla. " The elements are said to have created creatures. Rare and enigmatic creatures with strength and powers beyond the Supreme Wolf. A power near to that of the deities. Each had its own set of abilities in terms of the element they were responsible for. And among them will be reborn a goddess herself, deprived of justice and love, a bride of the Lycan god,"

When he got to where I was, he held out the tool for me to see clearly "Please." I continued struggling against the bindings desperately. When he reached out to grab my arm, I suddenly froze, closing my eyes and turning my face away. "You Thompsons have heartlessly killed so many of our kind. You killed even those who never killed a human for centuries. You've tortured us and hunted us like Prey." Venom dripped from his voice. The darkness in his eyes intensified as he trailed the knife over my skin teasingly. I couldn't stop trembling in utter terror.

We were out of options, and it felt like the end. But then, another ear-piercing cry of agonising pain echoed through the realm. It was so loud, so visceral, that we both opened our eyes in shock. Black, sticky blood splattered over Rae, coating her fur and my vision with its dark, oily texture. In front of us, a larger demonic hellhound had appeared. It was a monstrous beast, even more terrifying than the winged creature. Its eyes glowed with an unholy light, and its jaws were filled with razor-sharp teeth. The hellhound had caught the winged beast in its powerful jaws and was tearing into it with a ferocity that was both horrifying and mesmerising.

"You're sure we'll find hellhounds?" "I'm sure." My body transforms into Beast and we head out. We move to the water's edge and run south, farther away from the village. An hour later we reach an uninhabited area where the reports of hellhounds I've received from Beck detail their migration. All we've discovered so far about their habits is they go into the water and disappear. The theory that they're committing mass suicide is too good to be true and I know there's something going on that we don't understand.

Thea thought the occupants of this place must know shortcuts between levels using those ever-spinning, ever-changing tunnels. Her Valkyries closed in on her and Conri, forming a protective circle around them. Another row of them spread out, poised to fight. The rest of them fanned out around them, also ready to fight. A few of the dark figures stepped out of the shadowy darkness and got close enough for her to see. Suddenly, she understood the term hellhound. Dead werewolves in wolf form, shadow demons animating them. It made her hair stand on end. Other things stepped out of the shadows. Something that looked like a monster made of rock and dripping mud. Dead witches and werewolves animated

Chloe asked curiously. "You're a smart one, aren't you?" Dagmar smirked. "The goddess always seems to bless Hellhound males with smart women. The gods know those males need them. You're right; myths tend to come from a truth albeit perhaps an embellished truth. Shadow Wolves are no different although I'm not sure there are any werewolves alive today who know the story.
