"He didn’t say which one. He just, he's going to set it on fire." Henry immediately threw the car into drive, tires screeching against the pavement as we sped away from the building. I could hear him calling the Chief through his car’s system, his voice calm but lethal, relaying the information. I pressed my forehead to the window, my heart pounding against my ribs so hard it hurt. The city blurred past shops, houses, lives none of them knowing that somewhere out there, a monster was about to strike. I didn’t even want to be mad at Henry for everything he put me through today.

He looked up, lip trembling slightly. “But Dad is.” I winced. Yeah, Fernando had been harsh. He was still fuming in the front seat, his jaw clenched like it was wired shut. Ashley’s brows furrowed as she kept glancing his way. “He’s just worried,” I told Henry gently. “We all are. But you need to understand—talking to strangers, especially when we don’t know if we’re being followed or watched, it’s dangerous.” Henry nodded slowly. “He was nice and he asked me normal questions.”

“You don’t get to play the victim, Uncle Henry. You left me. Just like he did.” Henry looked down, his shoulders slumping. “I know. And I’ll never forgive myself for that.” I placed a hand on Mandy’s knee, grounding her. “What about now?” I asked. “What can you tell us about Horizon Enterprises now? Are they still involved in the same activities?” Henry nodded slowly. “They’ve changed their face, but their core is the same. They’re still dangerous, still willing to do whatever it takes to protect their interests. If they’ve come after you, it’s because they see you as a threat.”

I've missed you so much." I reached for his hair and loosened it. "I love it just the way it is. You don't need to pack your hair when I'm around." Damien smiled. The alarm rang, followed by Amy's voice. "Master Henry, the house is surrounded. Arms suspected!" Henry cursed beneath his breath. "Are we in some kind of danger?"I asked when he suddenly let go of me.

All of a sudden, my hands get sweaty and my heart starts racing. Then I realize that I'm actually nervous. Thinking like that, he decided not to turn on the light, but went straight into the house. A blast of cold air passed through Henry's body, making him feel dangerous. This is the house where he and Vivian have lived together for nearly a lifetime, does it contain any danger? Henry involuntarily rubbed his hands together, a feeling that began to overflow again until he hit something in the dark that made it make a sound.

Are you still there?” Henry asked; I hadn’t realized I had gone silent until he spoke my name. “Sorry, what were you saying?” I asked, shaking my head of any thoughts. “If anyone can get access to his phone, it’s you,” Henry repeated. “Just be careful. I’m still thinking he’s dangerous. If his family really is in danger, there’s no telling what he would do, and who he would step on, to protect them.”

“Get the boys ready. It’s time to do it.” Sophia raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Do what?” Henry ended the call, slipping his phone back into his pocket. “Don’t worry about it,” he said with a grin. “Just sit tight. You’ll see soon enough.” Raymond’s unease deepened, but he said nothing. Whatever Henry had planned, it was clear they were entering a dangerous game—one that could either secure their ambitions or destroy everything they’d worked for. Sophia leaned back on the couch, a satisfied smirk playing on her lips. “I hope you know what you’re doing, Henry.”

David’s phone started ringing and he looked at it nervously and was hesitant to pick it up. “It’s Henry,” he mouthed to me, showing me the caller ID. “I don’t know. But I know it’s something extraordinary. Something dangerous. Something that your husband wants to use for his own benefit,” John said ominously then David picked up his phone.
